It took one little post to flush out the exact Essendon supporter I was talking about, incredibly accurate aren't I?
Wow first flag in 57 years and Dees supporters all arrogant already. Expect to see more cheeseboards in the members next season. Such arrogance

Why do you stay in an abusive relationship? you know youre not welcome on their board :p
Not like I support a team to engage with its fans. They can have that board to themselves. Ill just spend my Saturdays on the couch wearing my Bombers (long-sleeve) jersey and mosquito hat....

Saying we are better than you is hardly arrogant. Apart from Gold Coast every club has been these past 20 years.

Well it's a lame opinion, and frankly uneducated. But you didn't hit a nerve with that at all, I just get bored of reading the Cleveland Times in this thread when you're talking about a team that isn't relevant to much at all, three winning seasons since 99 lol.

Geelong are looked after, wouldn't think many others are though.

Actually for as irrelevant as we have been, the Cleveland Browns are quite often in the national news. Ask Cowherd how successful he is at ginning up ratings by taking shots at Cleveland and Mayfield for the last 4 years, amongst many others.

We can all joke about families etc not wanting to speak to each other as to why the Browns game v the Packers was the highest rated sporting event watched on Christmas since 1989–but the reality is Cleveland fan is passionate and the networks damn well know it. Been a season long trend in particular.

As for my opinion regarding the Packers and other franchises getting calls—you may not personally like it or want to believe it, but it isn’t something I made up and you know it.

I would rather think it would be nice to get into the leagues favored franchise status and get calls other teams don’t. I certainly would love and embrace getting every close call and even not so close calls. No shame in it and if a call went our way to beat Pittspuke on Monday (it most certainly won’t) but if it did—I would absolutely enjoy it and have no problem rubbing it in known lifelong Pittspuke fan GG.exe ’s face.
(Couldn’t resist GG.exe) ;)

In my opinion trying to pretend you didn’t get calls in a particular game when you do, looks more lame and uneducated.

Especially when it is obvious.

Family interstate all Hawks fans. Could not be a stupid crows fan or inbred Port Power supporter.

Explains a lot.

But see even we can find common ground in your last 4 words.

All is not lost

Always thought they should do team of the month so other positions could get some love like o line, tight end, Dts

See, told you you should have had the Titans and Dolphins on in prime time.

Happy New Year cockos. :)

under the new covid rules he will only miss 5 days and not 10, as long as he produces a negative day 5.
its also why Dalvin Cook is back this week

Rip Covid-Denier bowl 2.0

Why not a little love for the downtrodden neglected Lions? St Ra has had a strong month, not stronger than Waddle, but i think the recognition is for the leap in his play, given too his draft standing.

Dolphins were downtrodden and neglected at 1-7 a month and a bit ago, their players deserve all the awards they can get. Waddle a big part for the turn around. Deserves recognition.

A bit of a downer that Mond still cant be trusted to start a game. Mannion is pretty shoddy, like starting Glennon, a vet but a liability really. Even guys like Jake Fromm, Tim Boyle, Garrett Gilbert, managed to get a start.

Mond....treated same way as Franks, mist be horrific in weekly practices. Or....Vikings still in with a chance of WC spot so leaning toward a vet. But dont they ever learn theyre a liability? Maybe Mond comes put and wows despite what seems to show in practice.

The fact Mannion is starting tells you all about Zimmer's mindset. Doesn't care about the future, sticks with vets too much. Selfish coach coaching for his own job, not what's best for the franchise.

Ironically, Mond has an element of surprise, probably give the Vikings the best chance to win. But Zimmer is old and crusty, stuck in his ways, part of what holds the team back.

Im not disagreeing, just coming up with a reason why maybe. Perhaps theyre planning on giving Waddle an award end of season and wanted to give some love to Armon Ra St Brown?

Maybe Waddle and Chase get equal Off Rook of Year award? Unless theyre gonna hand it to Mac Jones and then it makes less sense what I suggested.

So back to your point....just give the monthly award to the right player, stop playing politics.
