Hypothetical peeps.

You are a QB needy team and have the No.1 pick in this years draft and Allen and Herbert are both in the draft who you taking?

If I have a decent run game, Herbert.

If I don't, Allen.

:D

Lean toward Herbert but as others have said, hard to split at this stage.

With Allen though you don’t need decent RBs as they barely get a touch with him under center. I rate Singletary and the Bills never give him a work load.

But you would want a RB that can catch and is good in pass pro.

Exactly why that would lean me to Allen, as he can more often than not provide the run.

Could take a few late/cheaper FA RB's, but otherwise spend premium on the line and give him weapons down field.

Allen also puts himself in some situations where could get hurt.

True the risk is there and accidents do happen, but that also then rests just as much in the confidence you have in the coaching staff. If you draft a QB that you intend to utilise heavily in the run game and don't properly drill them on how to protect themselves and when it's ok to not fight for the extra yardage.

If you get the vibe they'll let ego override it, then probably go with the other QB anyway haha.

Tier One
Bills, Buccaneers, Cardinals, Chargers, Packers, Rams, Ravens, Titans

Titans, wtf are you talking about? They have played like garbage in every game this year imo.

I forgot to add Chargers and Packers into my contenders list

Packers probably above Rams

1. Bills
2. Cardinals
3. Chiefs (if defense improves, if it doesn't, they are cooked)
4. Packers
5. Buccs
6. Rams
7. Chargers
8. Cowboys
9. Ravens
10. Browns?

I think you could make a case that any of these teams could win it
