Now we all know that Mid Pricers a gross and there will be 60+ rookies to pick come round 1, but there are 2 options I don't mind.

Heppell seems to be a pretty safe bet, should manage 90ppg if healthy, has a round 13 bye so easy to slingshot him if he's not going too flash or there's an obvious target from one of the team with the round 12 bye that I've missed.
There are a few other midfielder midpricers around his price his he's a total bust.

The other is Rozee, but he's at an awkward price, and has the first bye so no slingshot option, although I would pick him with the aim of him being a keeper, unlike Heppell.
I do like Port's draw and Rozee's ceiling.
There's 5 early standouts for FWDs imo. And I'm happy to wait on most of them.

So Mr Midpricer,

Heppell & Rozee or Dusty & rookie?

Heppell and Rozee mainly because I think Heppell (90-95) will score close enough to what Dusty will (95-105) & going by the assumption that Rozee will be a better scorer than a rookie it's a free hit at a potential keeper. I'm not convinced that the 'extra mid time' for Rozee and Butters will be significant minutes though. Port have a lot of Mids, but he's capable of 90+ in the right role for sure.

Taranto v Cunnington
Rowell v Cerra

Taranto averaged more in his 3rd season than Cunnington has averaged in his entire career.
Cunnington has been SC irrelevant his whole career besides a 10 week purple patch.

Rowell.

Taranto's DE is bloody awful, and Cunnington is the kind of guy who will do his best work late in his career.

Rowell.

Gaff vs Dusty

I've never had Gaff in my SC team - but, he's keeps coming up with the tons
I'm 50/50 on Dusty, but if you look at it he's only ~$45K more than the 2nd year player Rowell that many teams has atm

It's a waste of time comparing Rowell to anybody.

Yeah, he's a 2nd year player. Yeah, he's only played six games.

Unless he gets injured again, if you don't pick him, you will regret it.

He's a freak. The exception that proves all the rules.

Dusty's a gun, but he can't be bothered during the home and away, which is why he costs what he costs

If you can only have one super premo for captaincy option, who would you take?

Neale vs Gawn?
Gawn 100%. Neale can have an off night and score below 100. Gawn can play terribly and get 120.
