Daniel vs Docherty

Both $676k priced at 89. Docherty the higher ceiling (117 best avg. vs 94). However, new rules seemed to suit Daniel, though doubt he gets that much space every week. Docherty has more decent defenders around him now who will take away some of his possessions.

I'm a big fan of Docherty (obviously). Went at 98 in the first half of last year before slowing down in the 2nd. Daniel has the potential to be a big scorer this year as well.

I went with Daniel for similar reasons mentioned by JDWCE but have also faded Docherty a bit. It seems as though Carlton have an intent to move the ball a lot quicker which means less chip marks around the back line, added to the fact that they’re meant to be on the improve (less time with the ball down back).

Probably option 2 for me. Daniel will be a keeper and has some upside to his game. Green an overpriced rookie option who should hopefully average 70+ and make some coin for you. Serong is at an awkward price for mine and I think you’re almost banking on him being a keeeper at that price. Clark still very speculative for mine too, cracking game on the weekend and will be a great pick if he maintains that wing role. I’m not 100% certain he will with the likes of Duncan, Menegola, Isaac Smith, Higgins, to compete with. If you’re picking him you believe he’s got it though

Duggan has you a potential keeper. First option will require you trading both players out at some point. Is Briggs going to be on field? I’d probably look for a better option there though.

If I had to choose it would be Caldwell; not a massive scorer but at least he has the role. Stevenson will go great when he plays up the ground but that looks far from an assured role week to week.

Hmmm, in all honesty he's not someone I have really considered.
Just think there are a few too many mouths to feed at Port and at his price he really needs to be a top 6-10 fwd, which I'm not convinced about
