Position 2021 Rookies

I'm thinking of shifting Bergman for Jones (or Fullarton). I said I'd go with my head instead of my heart this year, so it makes sense to grab the rookie with the best JS.

Some supporters don't see Hartlett as auto best 22, but the coaching staff probably do. Jones and Bergman play a similar role, so they might be rotated, and that's if there's actually a spot for them with Hartlett back in the side. Port are a bloody good side.

Bergman will probably score well in a win, but he might need a long term injury to stay in. Looks like the smarter option would be to take the safer pick in Jones (or Fullarton), then grab Bergman in round 3 if required.

FML I hate rookie decisions!!! Every other rookie I'm sold on, but this last FWD spot is killing me.

I'm happy to bring Bergman in R3 if he keeps his spot, like you I think he's a bit too risky now and we'll almost inevitably have to make correction trades anyway.

If rather see the team sheet and get an understanding of who Hartlett will come in for. The closer we get to team announcements and how quite Lions are makes me question whether Sharp is playing...

A real quick, dumb question before I set them in my team and hit the beers - which is the more worthwhile choice out of the two Bulldogs 102k rooks? I'm happy to roll with one, from memory one is a mature ager so I feel like that might help him stick around a bit.

Bergman if named tempting, issue is that you'd ideally want his name next to Hartlett's to be surer on the JS.
Anyone just going to plug Berg in on potential and bypass the Hawks' kid?

If he had been picked and Hartlett was fit I'd be more confident. Although I think Hartlett is not the walk up start he used to be.

Whilst Hinkley will not drop him if he plays well, there is to much of a lingering doubt to need him in round 1.
