Doubt the club is panicking, we're 4 games in. Plenty of time to play the kids. They haven't even played a VFL game FFS.
I agree that Greenwood is crap, but our cupboard is bare. Remember that we traded out some experience in the off-season.

Our kids are not the Guldens/Campbells or Rozee/Butters/Duursma of years past.
Macrae a chance to come in, but team needs a reshuffle so as not to expose him inside.

Or do you think Ollie Henry should be played again? Doubt you watched our first two games.

McCreery looks good so far - but he did play well in the SANFL last year. Will retain his spot.

I agree about playing 'our' kids. Who knows if they're ready. Henry was obviously considered the most ready, and he looked totally lost. It absolutely rubbish that the VFL season hasn't started, yet we are 4 games in to the season. None of these kids have played a real game yet.

I could understand if we were 2-8, and the kids have some VFL experience. Then the 'play the kids' argument has more merit.
But not at 1-3 with ZERO games in the VFL.

Bucks has blooded 2 first gamers already, but foamers think we should play them all now. It's comical.

Do people think Lachie Jones will be a must have rookie next week? He looked great.

Keeps playing like that surely his spot is locked in and he will make 150K+. I have Nic Murray dead at D8 so I really need to plan 2 weeks in advance to get in Jones for the 40k difference at D8.

He looked very comfortable vs Richmond. Difficult to debut vs defending champs but he didn't look fazed at all. You'd think as long as he is going OK his JS is good, especially with Port picking up injuries. Wait til he's on the bubble of you can though.

Round 6 might be a double downgrade week imo, with Jones and Treacy looking like in's (need to get Treacy before his price rises)

Yep he looks like a must-have and I'm getting him when he's on the bubble unless he completely spuds up or gets injured this weekend.

He seems to be a big crowd favourite too which always helps him and his JS

I want him at R3 eventually so Marhsall can cover ruck. What he scores isn't important but if I get him it's got to be before his price rises. Comben from North the option. I doubt he'll be in the team when Lobb is back so will be a good loop.

Could be. I wonder if Freo will try to protect Lobbs and not make him Ruck, at least for awhile. Treacy and Meek may well swap through the year.

Treacy might also go big in a game or two and be a good cash cow, works either way for me.

When the older players are delistable and you're heading into a rebuild, ya gotta play the kids and get a year ahead. That's what hurt norf, thought they were good for too long and kept topping up, now they pay the price with a monster rebuild.

Fingers crossed you get a job on the Collingwood match committee, if so I look forward to them flittering around 10th for the next 5 years before they hit the wall and have no choice but to go through a North Melbourne-esque club destroying rebuild.

Playing a couple of senior bodies to replace senior bodies is nothing like what you guys are implying - they aren't saying drop Daicos for Greenwood FFS, just that hey, maybe our tough clearance inside mid (Adams) needs to be replaced by a big tough clearance mid, albeit a shitter version, rather than throw Macrae to the wolves like happened to Henry
