It’s funny because Mumfords game is being severely overrated. He didn’t get completely embarrassed, congrats? Grundy was still better.

Flynn was in the Giants best 3 players in round 1 and they wanna leave him out for a fat old bloke who does more lines then he gets hit outs.

I think Flynn plays, but I almost think it’s definitely going to be in tandem with Mumford. And with Leon hinting that Briggs will get a debut soon, sounds like they plan to play 2 rucks for a bit

Is there anyway you can get ROB without burning Flynn? Put Flynn to utility? Flynn still has coin to make, but I think he’s only going to get 40-50 scores in a tandem set up

For what it’s worth I’m bringing in Macrae as well and putting him at F6. He sounds like a beauty. If he scores a 60 which I think he can and will, he rises 20k straight up, so might be best to just grab him now

Max is priced about 25-28 points above ROB atm. I think the difference could be maybe 10 points from here. Thoughts?

Yeh I like the look of RoB +200k over Gawn.

Gawn might be 10-20 better than RoB but that 200k should nullify that.

Yeah, I'm in a similar spot with Jordon on the ropes to be dropped and would like to get Treloar in, but the nag of Flynn in vs Flynn out is an issue that will keep cropping up by the sounds. I'll just get O'Brien this week and put out that fire and see if I can somehow wrangle a decent return from the M8 spot.

This is my strategy 100%. With no issues this week atm, and JDG needing to go, it’s a perfect time to get a premium R2 in, in ROB. I could play Flynn this week and fix it soon, but already had 6 forced trades to date. So better to fix it now while I can, as there could be more fixed trades on the horizon

I think im inclined to take Rob plus the cash....

I'm in a good position in that I have Gawn and Grundy with Flynn as R3. I f I feel that Flynn will be a week by week proposition rotating with Mummy and Briggs, then I can cut him for a profit and use the coin to move someone else to a premo.

At the moment, my biggest concern for this week is Jordon. I think he will bounce back, and will still make more money, but the Sunday game makes it a tough call.

I'm currently looking at Highmore and Kosi as the first outs. If Highmore isn't named, then I'm just going to get rid of him even though it's the first game of the round... can't risk having zero bench in the backline. I have the coin in the bank to take him to CJ, Cumming, Ash or Sholl, but not sure if any of those are keepers even though they will probably improve my score this week.

I would prefer to trade in a keeper, and am really looking at Treloar as a target, but to do that would need to get a 170K (ish) rookie in the backline, and that could mean holding Highmore for another week.

I'm currently doing better this season than I ever have before, in the top 1000 after four rounds, but this seems to make decisions even harder.

My concern with Jones is job security. Playing halfback, has Bergman potentially playing that role too, Houston, Hartlett etc could all take minutes from them if say a Rocky comes back in and Houston goes back more or whatever. I'm just not convinced Jones won't be dropped like Bergman was. Nik Cox is in Essendon's five best players already.

Yep, I'm currently considering Highmore to Jones, and the Fantasia to a premo defender. Will basically be able to get anyone except Lloyd, so thinking Houston or Ridley...

think I've settled on Butts > Jones, Butters > treloar.

Moved up to around 1100 last week so would be nice to crack the 1000 this week (though Im just going to assume it goes to shit very soon)

Would also like to know more about Jordon. Melbourne playing on Sunday is super annoying.
Downgrading him would enable me to grab a Ridley type, rather than a midpricer like CJ or Cumming.

But at the same time, have also been stung in the past from offloading rookies too early!

Worst case he spuds and gets dropped instantly.. atleast there's more you can do with a mid/fwd utility dpp wise than a ruck/fwd.

But without even seeing him play I would think Macrae has a better ceiling and job security than treacy.
