Trades 2021 Round 6 Fantasy Trades

From a skim of the team boards and some coach/player comments, it sounds like any of Jordon, SBerry or BCampbell could get a rest this week, so keep an eye out. I had all three on field last week. At least we'll know about Jordon & Campbell on Fri night.

Hm Jordon getting a rest actually makes me lean towards keeping him. I was going to cull him as he seems to be capped out, but if he has a rest and comes back and belts out a few more 80s or 90s he could be worthwhile keeping around.

Wouldn't say THAT many.



I just don't have an uber premium mid (which is probably next priority).

Everyone's definition varies slightly, but by mine, onfield you have:

7 Premos
10 Midpricers
5 Rookies

Definitely a solid team with no super urgent problems, but I would be looking to upgrade at least another dozen players before I used the word "complete".

True, that's another way of looking at it. Jordon would be great to carry at M8 a while longer for some 70-80s.

For my trades this week, I can get Titchell if I drop Jordon, or Neale if I hold him:

1. Jordon + Campbell/Berry -> Titchell + Bergman
OR
2. Campbell + Berry -> Neale + Bergman

Neale's totally bottomed-out now, with a breakeven of 84 - so even if he cops a tag this week he's only going up in price from here. But Titch has a fantastic schedule coming up. Hard to pass up.

Fyfe slightly cheaper by Kelly is a role change away from being the number 1 forward in the game.

I'd still err on the side of caution with both of those blokes.

I totally agree but i can't get any higher and i want to start moving some rooks off field. Sholl was the other one i am tempted by thinking he may be keeper quality but i think a Jiath situation could be just as likely with him.

Sholl has a much better and safer role imo. On the wing is a great position for point scoring where Jiath whilst a free roaming defender, will get lock down jobs from time to time. Sholl finished last year with a 100 and a 90 (scaled) so it’s a 7 game sample of a 90+ average. I don’t think he’s an Uber (Lloyd, Laird, Docherty type) but I feel he’s a premium this year. He’s in that Short, Daniel, Duggan bracket but is 100k cheaper than those types

Think you misunderstood me saying complete (which was in commas and referring just to my defence).

I am nervous about Ward both his body and role however i think Cameron is coaching to save his job at the moment which should help Ward.

What do you see Ward averaging? If Sholl is say a 90 as a defender, and that’s keeper range, you probably want 95+ from Ward

Take out his ACL and he's been extremely durable. Very left of centre pick though. Makes it hard picking someone like Ward when guys like Jiath, Stephenson (to an extent) etc have been traded in and burnt coaches. Ward just seems to have the role but Cameron is his coach so who knows what could happen

Had some injury troubles last year as well and is the wrong side of 30. I definitely see some merit in the pick but it is one i will be avoiding.

If you think Sholl's a keeper then I'd definitely be going that way as opposed to someone you aren't planning to keep and will have to use another trade on.

Dees board all love Jordon, but it didn't seem to be a controversial view that he might be ready for a rest. The good ol Bigfooty hot takes were reserved for whether Nate Jones should be dropped on the eve of his 300th lol (...and I guess that proves your point somewhat haha).
