I did that a few weeks back and ended up with Berry's 20 on field and Powells 91 on the bench or something....

didn't go well....
Ouch. I had Jordon on bench first week by accident and McNeil on field. McNeil I added last day so I could upgrade elsewhere and forgot to swap lmao

I changed mind at last minute and avoided WaynesWorld19 advice.

This week I'm currently following his advice of Oliver so I should abort before Oliver does a knee or cops a 4 week ban. :drunk:

BTW .....if it is 2-3 weeks on Danger ...I'll also be doing Danger to Oliver

Don't want to, prefer two cash generation trades .....but my hands may be tied

I looked at the app at 1/4 time and was cursing as Danger was in the 30's with Titchell on 65 at 3/4 time. I got lucky I think.

What are people's thoughts Bergman or Macrae? I didn't think I could afford Bergman but I can by the exact $ lmao

Macrae :padlock: .....already traded in ...looked very good in that last Qtr, once he got a feel for the pace of the game

Really hope most took my advice and waited a week on Danger...

Won't play this week as a certainty, and could be out for the next two months with a syndesmosis injury requiring surgery at worst
Probably helps Jordan Clark?

My only thought is I may need both to generate some money. Hopefully someone else pops up next week I guess.
Ridley on 237 BE .....two more weeks, maybe 3 .....in he comes to my side

Danger will drop quite a bit .....so he'll be my next trade in approx R11

You would think so, but who the hell knows what our MC does.

There's a spot there now though, and I think either Holmes or Cooper Stephens when he returns through the VFL, are the ones who'll get a decent run at it. Definitely a 'watch this space' over the coming weeks. FWIW, Holmes just had his 3rd BOG in the VFL, so if he keeps this up, he might end up being Best 22 by the end of the year, haha

Ridley looks a must get once that drops although I'm sure the breakeven is in the 140's.

Daniel is the other I will consider depending on what his price drops to and if he can score well consistently.

There will be a few cheap forwards incoming I'd imagine, Kelly & Danger which will solve my forward line woes until Kelly gets injured inevitably :drunk:

Soooooo..... who else is completely screwed if this is the weekend that the popular rookies start getting rested?

I might be okay, i traded Berry last week and my plans are already to get rid of Campbell and Jordan

Fair fair I just use Footywire which has 142. Hoping he can hit that first week back so the rest of you don't get the points or the discount!!
Nah ease him back in just playing the first half i would have thought, can never be too careful.

BE game, Bergman this week (if he holds his spot), Macrae next week?
I think they'll both be important. it's slim pickings out there!

EDIT: Noticed Bergman doesnt play till Sunday. So if you need to lock in some trades before saturday night I'd just grab Macrae. Bergman SHOULD hold his spot, but I wouldn't 100% guarantee it.

I'd likely be trading out Tex and Drew so I'll know in advance or should. Bergman/Macrae and Oliver in.

Daniels, Ridley and Houston look like viable Def upgrades next few weeks.

Ridley clear no 1, but can go either way with Daniels/Houston.

Which 2 would youall pick?

1. Ridley
Possibly neither of the other two but if they get filthy cheap then Daniels first, then Houston (I still have post traumatic stress from having him in my team last year... always has that change in role that kills his score at the drop of a hat).

Really, really dislike the rolling lockout, but I will say one thing...it does help as a tiebreaker with any 50/50 calls.

Example this weekend need a rookie and Farrar is just off the table for me cos of the earlier game. Also going Titchell over Neale (at this stage) just because it allows me a look at Sundays teams

At least makes justifying any calls alot easier in my head

Hahah yeah. It's certainly helped me be happier with my trades when they come down to the wire.
I'm also less upset for missing a rookie who smashes it, when it was just never on the cards for me to get them due to the rolling lock out.
Silver linings.

EDIT: and good point in Titch over Neale, hadn't thought of that aspect to it yet.

Brandon Ellis. Anyone talking about him? Rowell's out in a suns midfield with not much going on.
4 110+ scores in a row, including 2 120. Averaging 110. 0.8% ownership. Still relatively cheap.
BE 86. He's got the good round 12 bye....

Seems silly not too.

My summary is:

Ellis is $760k.

Mitchell is $770k
Neale is $740k
Treloar is $730k.

No one would have all three of the last 3.

Anyone who's taking Ellis over any of the last 3 should be shot.
