I would say move him on when you get the chance to do a luxury trade (do they even exist?)
I have already decided he isn't going to be what i hoped he would but is fine enough to hang around for now.
Anyone considering Tom McDonald as a POD?
Concerned about Walker being a late out or rested and I have made 200k from him so might be time to cash that in.
Considering Walker to Dunkley and Ridley to McDonald.
Mcdonald has only had the one poor game this year (48) and if we remove that game he’s averaging 100. Went at 90 a few years back, fits my rnd 14 bye structure and this year we are seeing a return of some of the marking key forwards scoring well.
Otherwise it’s Jordan to Macrae and Ridley to Gawn and risk it that Walker is named. This option also puts Berry onfield which I don’t trust
Demons also have a fantastic run coming up and we could see some big scores

One that I have not seen mentioned anywhere is Bailey Dale..85,85, 108 in his last three and only 548K with FWD/DEF DPP...

It has merit but i could not do it, another 40 is around the corner and maybe i am wrong but i am just not as high on the Dees as the 5-0 start suggests i should be.
They also have Weids and Big Ben to come back in and have Richmond this week which will not be giving up free marks.

That is an interesting one because his role has looked really good, plus it would mean when they are using a terrible camera angle and i mistake him for Macrae i wouldn't have to get angry any more.

At least you have Oliver, spent the past 2 weeks trying to get him in and I won’t be able to again this week

He isn't chasing or tackling as much as we would want, so some discussion about that on the Dogs board. he should be doing exactly what Treloar is - but doesn't seem to be working as hard to get into the same spots. Seems to have been the one squeezed the most (in terms of points) by the arrival of Treloar. For mine, given we are scoring well, I'd hold - worse case is he's not a bad M8.....

Think he's an 80 type with that role. No Daniel last week saw him take a lot of kick outs and see a subsequent rise in scoring. Daniel back this week so likely drops back down. Great get in draft as a free agent though
Not sure looking at his stats how much impact the addition of Brown in the forward line will have on McDonald. He seems to be playing further up the ground in
a linkup type role and going at 20 disposals and 8/9 marks per game.
Think he’s still cheap enough to look at taking the chance he goes at 90-95 for the year.
Heck who would have thought Walker would be a good option and make me 200k 3 weeks ago.
I just don’t think I trust fielding Macrae or Berry for decent scores most weeks instead. Macrae was only in his 20s until a good last qtr... Or I could be digging myself a grave and watering my own flowers before jumping in.

So.. this starting team would have won 4/5 weekly’s so far and currently be 1st overall with a 900 point break to 2nd. All without making a single trade

I think Macrae was Ok, bit on the slight side (to be expected), but once the Pies figured him out - he got into nice spaces and used it well. I'd be hoping they finally realise they are screwed and start playing the kids more.....

Thing is even if you started with that team you would absolutely make trades to shuffle rookies and **** this up.

Just shows that no one gets a perfect start to the season. You just need a couple of these big improvers in your starting line-up then get lucky with trading in underpriced premos.

Funniest thing is before round 1 I would have said it’s the most feral starting team I’ve ever seen.
Popular rooks aside, there’s only 5 maybe 6 players anyone was actually consdering in pre-season. Just shoot for the stars and go insanely left field I guess.

I actually went through and selected the best possible team after round one and put it in for round 2. Would have scored somewhere near 2500 round 1.Ripped it off some guy from twitter. I don’t have that much spare time
It scored 1914 round 2, and I brought in Tex and Isaac Smith for Caldwell and Stephenson for round three, scoring 2072.
I forgot about it the next two rounds, but scored 1810 and 1905. That was with a Donut for Daniel and Hunter's 53 for Flynn.
The round 5 score was about 70 higher than my main team....
Maybe all this stress we get about trades is unnecessary
