Another decent round this week, 2108 for the round and up to 68th overall.
129pts off top 10 and 386 off 1st.
Was thinking Kelly this week but have decided to fix up two bench rookies to get some more cash gen going.
Happy to give Kelly one more and pay 700k for him if he pumps out another 120.

Next week I’m hoping to get Kelly and Byrnes if they can both back up last week with good scores again for Gulden and Cox, leaving me hopefully around 100k bank to go after Ridley and Dusty in the following weeks leading up to byes.

Great looking team. On stocker, Nic Newman is back from injury (was pretty solid in his first VFL hitout) and has been best 22 when fit.
I wonder if RCD might be a safer option given cotch's injury? Reckon he has a higher ceiling than Stock too.

Cash gen starting to take a hit now. $15.9M team value. Which looks about par atleast.
The guy in first has a whopping $16.3M. Looking at his team it's better than mine in every way. So the illusion of a Hilux is gone and I can focus on the illusion of a hat now.
Since Round 5 I've managed to to slowly bring in some good names: Gawn, Treloar, Treloar over 3 weeks.
Cash is beginning to run dry so will need to lower the eyes over the next few weeks:

Bye rounds structure isn't looking great if 8/10/12 is the theoretical best. I'm currently 10/7/13 but I think that'll naturally fix itself with some of the inclusions above.

The good thing this week is that GWS play on Saturday, so we will know if Flynn is playing before the round actually starts.
I don't need to get rid of him as he's only F3, but if he doesn't get a game this week, I'll consider just dumping him due to the complete uncertainty and the fact that I can at least get a decent amount of cash for him. He's got a bit more to earn, but at the rate he's getting games, it could take another six weeks for him to max out.

Its actually a very favourable fixture for a lot of reasons.
- Richmond first up locks in RCD (very little doubt but always nice to be guaranteed).
- Giants Saturday so we see Flynn;
- Saints Saturday so we see Highmore. And also Byrnes;
- Pies Saturday so we see Macrae;
- Dees/Swans/North all Saturday so we see all of our key rookies named. Also get to see if Campbell returns.
Merrett a possible early loop. Dare I say it Ziebell/Hall loop options against Pies as well.
With Macrae or Gawn to bring it home as captain if needed.

Currently at my highest end of round rank for a few years, so I am a bit reluctant to do a double downgrade as I want to stay on the scoring pace, but cash gen could become an issue quickly.
I could play the BE game and go Gulden & Hardwick > Hall & RCD
Or just double downgrade and fix my rookies, with Brockman & Rantall > RCD & Byrnes or possible (Sharp/Highmore) & Rantall > Frederik & RCD

Looks hard to pass on Hall at that price with the Pies this week. Always had the ability to do well in Fantasy if given the right role. Really would like to get Josh Kelly in, but about 10k short of that.

Will probably change as the week unfolds but if Cotchin is out for a few, and RCD is named for Friday I'll have to pick him. He's been highly rated for a long time. Surely gets a few and hopefully survives till byes.

Any way you can keep Campbell? I see him as being pretty valuable with that R14 bye. I think I'll hold him till then just as a cheap green light.

I'm probably open to trading him before that now. As it feels like a coin flip that he'll play. Actually probably less than 50/50 given the R12 bye will get mummy back to being fresh.. so mummy could play R13-15 (particularly if they're still trying to make finals).
I'll just keep on doing my 1 up 1 down each week, and if at some point I can't get my 1up in any other way other than culling Flynn... well I guess he goes.
He survives this week again for me.
I can keep Campbell, And the Ridley trade is, getting a top 6 defender right now locks another player in, I was gonna get him ages back and missed out on it due to injuries elsewhere, and I know he has still got 2 weeks of cash losing, but this year is so unpredictable, I think maybe we have to jump on while we can rather than try and be cute with price changes and then be stuck with forced injury trades. And there's really not many others defenders around his price you can say will be top 6. where you can be confident he will.

Yeah fair call. Probably only drops to $600k anyway so not a lot lost going early.
In a perfect world I still like to see them demonstrate their ceiling once again coming back from injury/concussion. I didn't see his hit so not sure if thats of any concern with his 66?
