I actually thought Payne played quite well from where I was sitting (behind the goals) and hadn't realised he'd been out at the start of pre-season. Payne and Prior were who I noticed most from the younger group.

Good to read your comments a few posters have noticed Prior, might be in for a big year.

He spoilt a whole bunch of marking contests. But keep in mind, he was only playing on some new guy...I think his name was Joe...

Sad that this is the only footage I've seen of the match sims all offseason. Disappointing by the club.

Understand the need to keep secrets but a Rayner and Daniher highlight or two would've been nice.

Much harder to read into tweets than footage though. Totally get why the club is being selective in this case.

Ended up a tie at full time, with play allowed to go on until CEY snapped a golden goal to win it for Team Yellow. Amazing how extra-competitive everyone became as the scores drew closer.

Did you notice if Jarrod Berry was just doing laps again or did he have a run in the game

He was cleared of serious shoulder injury v Suns in round 16.
Missed the last 2 H & A games and returned for the finals where he played below his best
Can't recall if he had any procedure over the break

Only about 5 weeks until round 1. Maybe Gardiners knee a little more serious then first thought. Starc probably precaution as he suffered a mild concussion the previous week, Cockatoo training load being managed. Little concerned that Answerth's injury from late last year has not got better and what is going on with Neal? I believe all the above names can be covered (in the short term) except Neal.

Because of these photos i noticed Charlie's footy boots.
It may have been mentioned before but i was not aware the colours are of the Aboriginal flag.
His boots are black with half the studs yellow and the other half red.

• Black – represents the Aboriginal people of Australia.
• Yellow circle – represents the Sun, the giver of life and protector.
• Red – represents the red earth, the red ochre used in ceremonies and Aboriginal peoples’ spiritual relation to the land.
