Mahomes now has 10 playoff wins in his first 5 years of being an NFL starter, tying him with Tom Brady for the most through the first 5 years of QB starting

Brady was 10-1 whereas Mahomes is now 10-3

Other notable W counts from QBs with 10+ career playoff Ws (starting from first season they started at least half the games)

Flacco: 9

Big Ben: 8

Montana: 7 (didn’t start over half the games until 1981)

Staubach: 7 (didn’t start until 1971)

Aikman: 7

Favre: 7

Rodgers: 5 (didn’t start until 2008)

Elway: 4

Peyton: 0

Is the week off a HUGE advantage? Plenty of #1 been booted from the playoffs despite the week off. Some argue it breaks your momentum.

As the one seed you should get an advantage over all conference rivals. Be better, win more games if you dont like it.

I mean imagine if youre an outdoor team as the #1 seed and the NFL schedule the neutral site game at a dome (which they'd likely do) and the #2 seed is a dome team with a noodle arm QB ala Matt Ryan who was significantly better throughout his career indoors. How bullshit is that.
The owners will vote against it anyway imo, especially if Rooney is opposed to it as he is

Can see the challenge system being overhauled

The Fix was in today we could all see it a mile away.

If at the end of the day we want more correct calls why shouldn’t you be able to challenge a flag/no flag. Give each side 2 challenges per half

Under the old format yes. Now there is a massive difference.

Old system both 1 and 2 got a bye and home field until the CG. When the 1st seed got a rightful advantage over the 2nd seed.

Now, one less game, home field all the way (including playing teams that probably wouldn't even be there when there were less playoff spots).

I'm not sure we need neutral CGs yet, but I'd like to see the gap close a little between the 1 and 2 seeds regarding advantage.

It's interesting Lamar hunt was a big proponent of Neutral championship games apparantly, was one of his main arguments back in the day.

Shame that a game like that happens and the discussion is about officiating.

Must annoy Brady that hes not going to be the goat for even 15 years by the time Mahomes is done.

I can see why he wants to hang around and try and get some more stats like he is

Not discounting a need for a No 1 seed advantage, nor taking away home field for the CG, but it seems a lot in this current format.

Rooney need not worry about it

They tried that with PI flags, and all it showed was the refs are too narcissistic to admit when they've made a howler, because even the worst one's rarely got overturned

Should go to a neutral booth. They make the call not the refs on field. This is a billion dollar sport and yet we have howler after howler.

You get a "sky judge" to work it out and make the call, not some dude watching a tiny screen

Get the sky judge to monitor all pre-snap rules (illegal formation, false start, offside, delay of game) and leave the on field officials to call the live action.

This is the NFL we are talking about.....unless you are referring to some United Nations type booth!

Would be like a bunker, neutral booth. Two incorrect challenges per half. Inconclusive you keep the challenge

Graham went 9-3 in NFL post-season. AAFC isn't included in official stats because they refused to give their books and stats to the NfL when absorbed by them. The AFL did, which is why all their stats are part of official NFL records
