Bit worried about this with Brayshaw. Don’t really mind with the rooks for a game.
Issue is if a rook misses because of the protocols they might not make it back in to the side for weeks, if at all. At least with Brayshaw you know he’ll be straight in once clear.

I’ve been huge on Brayshaw all pre season but yeah I’ve gone in a different direction for this reason.

I do agree with guero that the risk with a premo is mitigated somewhat because they’ll come straight back, but I (and sadly now many others) know from personal experience that Covid can knock you round a fair bit, so even when they slot straight back in there’s no guarantee that they go straight back to their previous output or TOG (assuming they’re actually positive and not just isolating)

For those going off WA guys because of covid issues, Moreira podcast had a good discussion on it. Said that if players are serious, they'll be going to training, then going home. Going to the game, then going home. etc etc.

Apparently Longmuire said in a presser that that's been the directive for the freo boys. Makes me inclined to try fit Bray in. Obviously can't speak for players wives/gfs but I guess we also don't know what Vic/NSW/SA.etc players have actually got it and which ones haven't. And as it stands there's currently more daily cases in Vic than WA anyway. So might be a moot point

If there's anyone I'd back to follow this stringently it's a guy like Andy Brayshaw. Leadership group and looks set on driving the standards.

Great, Brayshaw now back into my team. Thanks everyone :drunk:

Tags are my only concern but Fyfe back in the middle taking the heat is a tick there. Think he's a great price and set to go 110-115 with natural improvement on last year.
Yeah identical to my thoughts. It was literally only the covid stuff that had me spooked

General consensus I'd think is that if they're $190k and they're named round 1, you've gotta at least fill your bench with them.

I've got Ralphsmith M9, C.Stephens M10.
Keen on more $190k'ers.
Of those named so far, Hough is cheaper than HRS but I'd take the second year (kinda) veteran over the raw Hough.

No way I'm over paying in defence for guys like Smith @ $220. Not much better than Hamling or Kelly.

Taking N.O'Driscoll even if not named.
I have SDK on bench, if he scores well, I can loop NOD on field and bench McCartin (D6) as there's 3hrs between those games.

Hurry up and announce your rookies you stupid f***ers
And if anybody does what Hawthorn did last year and announces a debutant only to make them medical sub, you are the first nominee for the 2022 Horse’s Ass award and very high in the running to win it.

Aren't the close contact rules in NSW a lot less strict than WA though? In WA you're locked up for 7 days for looking at someone who has COVID.
