No idea what this is based on? He looked amazing in the preseason game, admittedly for a key defender. He is a first round draft pick and he's been hyped up all summer by the tigers and has cracked the best 22 for round 1. Gibcus will play all season long. That's his value.

He's only value if he's going up in price.

If named he's one I'm happy to back in to play well enough to hold his spot. Liked the look of him from what I saw. Kicks goals and generates scoring opportunities from a wing which they're in need of.

That's true, i just really hate the look of 200k+ "rookies" on my bench. Especially one thats nearly 300k.

Was always an excellent kick and decision maker, but just lacked the body strength not to sh*t himself when big oppo players came at him

Now that he's got an AFL Player's body, you can see the difference in his confidence and his attack on the ball - night and day compared to a couple of years ago. Have said all along that I think he'll make it, and I reckon I'll end up being right.
