Where do we rate Durdin and Baldwin?

I'll probably only take. Ideally I'd rather take neither!

Who has the better job security?

I was thinking of going with Baldwin just so I didnt lock a bench rook tonight... but with all the rookie chaos I may wish in hindsight I just locked away a $190ker that was available.
Durdin better long term JS. Baldwin locked for 5 games while Harry Jones is out.

Baldwin looks likely to score more even as a tall. Had elite junior numbers while Durdin's were very average.

Yes I do but Trac 142 is hard to beat
Miller will be on that at half time. You seen our midfield right now?

I predict this will be me Sunday afternoon

But then when I remember that I have Touk who just went 500 as captain I'll be like

He's only value if he's going up in price.

Fisher McAsey for example was a bad pick in 2020, despite the fact he was playing early on.

True. if he gets 16 and 19's then yeah he's a failed pick but he's value because there's no rookie defenders you can hang your hat on. So if you don't get him you'll probably have to do about 5 extra trades throughout the year to avoid donuts and probably end up copping an extra donut or 2 throughout the year. so that's where his value lies.

Is it?

I've got no qualms picking McCartin. Paying +$80k for a guy who's named and will play games seems a good deal?

Picking a no-name $190ker who'll be dropped like a hot potatoe seems counter productive.

But D8 almost always becomes that graveyard spot each year now.
D8..you mean D6. You're doing something wrong if you've got McCartin at D^.

Is it crazy to even think about starting 4 midfield rookies? :).. coz i may have4 mid rookies starting in my team atm
Don’t mind the 4/4. Providing its 4 absolute nailed on pigs. No messing around in the middle so speculative picks like Rowell at M5 (who I’ve currently got) might need to be shown the door. Pick a rookie and grab another Hewett type. 1. There’s a lower ceiling for success in other positions and 2. Someone like Hewett should be better value as he should get a guaranteed increase on role alone while Rowell has to up the production with not a lot of change in role.

Issue is.. (like always) who’s the 4th rookie we can trust

This is my 4 rookie mid strat... might not be able to trust that 4th rookie, but i got backup... plus if Matt crouch is broken... at least i'll also have cover, and can potentially still do crouch -> rowelll if it looks bad round 1

McCartin D7 at the minute. and DK D8.
I don't like it but I don't see an alternative atm...

Teams may hopefully help.

Currently D5 Milera, D6 $300-$380k, (McCartin / DK bench).

If a decent cheap bench player emerges it'll be McCarton D6 and Mrouch upgrades back to Neale (how I had it originally).
