Is S Hayes vs Strnadica comparison worthy at all?

Surely it's Hayes automatically given the JS.

S. Hayes should be an auto-pick regardless given Lycett's extended absence and his easy match-up this week v a first-gamer and Bailey Williams.

If Strnadica goes well and gets a longer run in the side (would probably need to be picked over Williams/Dixon or Allen when he's back) then he'd be worth looking at too, though we'll probably be running out of ruck spots by that point!

I thought so too, but then I looked at the bench and now I'm not so sure.

Extended Bench: Harmes, L. Jackson, Bedford, Bowey???, Melksham, Tomlinson, Dunstan???, Pickett

That's a hell of a lot of good names he has to go past to stay in. For mine, the bolded are locks and Dunstan likely is in to replace Viney...so I'm really not sure how he stays in, IMO. Could be the sub, or be 'managed' - but I definitely wouldn't be confident if I was an owner
Harmes and Sparrow both had low CBA's last week. Do they even need Dunstan if those two take up Viney's share is the question.

Harmes Jackson Bowey Pickett will be the bench I'm 90% sure.

Would you guys go with McComb or SDK? I’m frustratingly 4k short of going MacDonald to Rosas and Rowell to Bailey Smith, but can go Mead to McComb or SDK instead.

Definitely Hayes. Can wait a week on Strnadica and see how he goes. Personally think he's JS is good (as long as he plays half decent). Williams has shown he can't really lead the ruck on his own.

Not sure what he can score playing a dual ruck set-up though.

English -> Mills
Hall -> Oliver

Sucks to have two forced trades but my team looks better for it surprisingly. Hall hasn’t done much and English was always going to be terrible. Midfield of Steele, Macrae, Petracca, Oliver, Mills and spud Touk is looking pretty good. Rest of the team looks terrible. Injuries to premo’s every week hurts.

I've gone J.Hayes to S.Hayes, and then Rowell to Walsh.

Gut feel is that Cripps won't have any better games than the opening three weeks, and is more suited to Supercoach. Walsh coming back from injury still will only improve from here.

We shall see...

McComb unless you’re in some weird version of fantasy that you can hold SDK until 2058 when he finally makes 100k

I get the feeling it's Williams v Strnadica competing for #1 ruck with Dixon the supporting ruck when fit regardless of who gets it. Is that accurate

250k in the bank
What would you do.

Mead to McComb - gives you 360K, then McCartin to Gresham or JDG via SDK to the backline, NOD emergency and Hayes to the fwd bench as Emergency? Can then loop Hayes with English if he goes well enough (put S Hayes as your Emergency instead and then Durdin to utility if you want to this).

Also allows you to hold English for now, and then maybe trade next week if it's a decent enough hammy. Your team is in good enough shape to cover him if its's short term, IMO - especially if you get Jack Hayes off the ground for a premo.

Dixon with a calf, means I'm just gonna do a Superman and reverse time and fix up my trade in of Dixon over S. Hayes from last week instead - Ward out/Hobbs in will have to wait (was only on my bench anyway), in favour of trading in S. Hayes who has good JS and a decent match up this week.

H. Dixon > S. Hayes
A. Hall > B. Smith

31K remaining

I think it's just depends on what works (or sucks the least)

From what I've seen of Strnadica in the WAFL last year, he's looks more of a first ruck than Williams, who looks a bit out of his depth as the main guy. Dixon's a decent backup but undersized.

After Hayes this week, they have Nank, then Mcinerney/Fort, then Gawn/Jackson.

Can't see them throwing Williams in on his own in those games
