surely dogs midfield has the least JS..... got hunter and wallis off for personal reason, plus they could always replace him for crozier.... i'm super scared about his JS... but want a bulldogs supporter to convince me im wrong hahahaIs McComb gonna get a good run at it?
I’ll be straight on someone else if they present themselves. Replacing a bloke on personal reasons gives no insight into how long he’s in forsurely dogs midfield has the least JS..... got hunter and wallis off for personal reason, plus they could always replace him for crozier.... i'm super scared about his JS... but want a bulldogs supporter to convince me im wrong hahaha
Who the **** are the Traders and who the **** is Roy? And who let him knock her up 8-9 years ago? All valid questions.Side note: Just gave the Traders podcast a listen, due to the craziness of team reveals...and now I wish I hadn't.
As if we didn't have enough f*cking gambling advertising in the footy world, now they're talking about what bets they're placing and what money they're looking to make. It's also a regular segment, rather than a one off as well. Already disliked them, but now they can get right in the f*cking bin. Difference with their show is, that a lot of kids play this game too. Wonder what kind of example Roy is setting to his 8 year old by normalizing gambling on his own podcast.
Might sound like I'm overreacting, but this is turning into a goddamn epidemic. If kids, younger people or even just your average joe think that fantasy is part and parcel with gambling - then how is this not going to normalize the behaviour even more?
Absolute f*cking joke.
P.S. pretty sure Tom Morris was the voiceover for the betting ad on their podcast too...which just rubs even more salt into the already festering wound that is this faux par of a podcast.
Brayshaw or Smith in?My on-field teams average was 2061 without the C bonus before trades, after trades it has gone up to 2138
Mate gambling has been the number one issue for young people to navigate for some time now (along with consent), parents need to make sure they are strong and clear with their education on this issue
Nah you’re not overreacting, even from someone who gambles a lot.Mmm but this isn't some gambling ad that says 'gamble responsibly at the end' and is geared towards older people - it's a podcast revolving around a fantasy AFL game that all ages play, and which has no regulation around its content. It might seem harmless, but when a kid or a teenager hears that these representatives of the game are also placing bets on the game to 'make it more fun'...then what's stopping stopping a kid or a teen making that link of 'oh, well if I want to have even MORE fun, I guess I should place a bet'?
I know I sound like I'm overreacting, but I'm just so sick of it all. It's one thing to hear it 50 times in between every AFL game on Kayo or free to air, and also at the start of every AFL.com.au segment, however, it's another to have it seeping into podcasts and areas of society that literally that have nothing to do with gambling at all.
I mean, that's the beauty of fantasy football...the only thing you risk is your emotions when things go well, or they completely go to sh*t. It's all just fictitious and doesn't effect the real world, your financials or those around you. Gambling, however, can completely destroy your life and is classed as a form of addiction. It's becoming endemic now, the way it's just normalized - and I for one am just so f*cking tired of how commonplace it's now become...that a podcast about fantasy football can now become a platform to entice even more people into the insidious world of addictive gambling.
My on field average is 2225 now, 2216 if the (c) goes on Bray rather than Smith.
Just goes to show how low the expectations are. I’d be over the moon getting what should just bloody be the average.
Spot on.Nah you’re not overreacting, even from someone who gambles a lot.
Ultimately the issue is betting companies will stop at nothing to attach themselves to anything they can, and nobody is turning down money to simply promote them. As a society we’re one step away from “making a sandwich? Why not have a bet”
Rowell is a higher priority than Crouch IMO but if you need to go Crouch out to get up to a premium then no issues there. You could also go Rachele down who’s close to maxed and get Rowell up, then Mead out next week who’s not going to lose any cash and Crouch up then.Looking like these are the trades for the week.
Could wait till next week for Cripps but its basically him or Tom Green.
Really aren't sure if i should of trade Rowell or Crouch but i think there's more upside to Rowell, if not he goes next week.
Also so hard who should take the last spot out of Rachele, Hayes, and Martin. tough tough!
Any opinions id love them!
