Would love to be able to get Neale in aswell. He was in my starting side all preseason and I got off him at the last minute. 🤦‍♂️

Neale, Cripps and B Smith was a way better starting combo than Touk, Steele and Jelly, I can tell you.....

Neale is a hopeful for next week for me, depending on a few things...
I can’t stand not having the little campaigner anymore.

I’ve lucked into it but have had to jettison JHF and Daicos. Hopefully Daicos doesn’t bite me on the ass. $0 leftover.

Don’t think I can get a Demon unless I cull NOD early and just hold McCartin. See what happens.

In the process of working out which premo mid to bring in. Im tossing up between going down the POD route again or picking a ‘budget’ option to keep some money in the bank.

I am tossing up between these players as the quality options as keepers.

Laird- left with $2k
Boak- left with $2k
Touk- left with $12k
Walsh- left with $22k
Trac- left with $42k
Wines- left with $65k
Crippa- left with $66k
Jelly- left with $76k
Bont- left with $91k

Cripps with the way he is playing at the moment

How many bye players do you have each round. Who are your current premo mids?

Should help you cull a few id imagine. You don’t really want more than 2 or 3 with same bye.

Which is a better trade out of Foley (B/E 83 vs Bris) or JHF (B/E 68 vs FRE)

303k in the bank, my trades will be
Out: Foley/JHF, Xerri
In: Clark, Gawn

Leaves about 130k next week which will allow
Out: NOD, JHF/Foley
In: Rookie, Cripps
Does it matter? They’ll both be on bench right? Hewett goes back and kicks Foley out. Surely you field Clark after last week.

Maybe Foley for the high BE

That is my thought, one will go this week, the other will go next week (Clark to be fielded before eitherway).
Just that lingering doubt that carnage is on the way, and I will be stuck with the other for a few more weeks than had planned.

I think Foley with that high BE and also you have pretty good defensive cover as is.

Based off on field players only and current team (obviously will change in the coming weeks)

R12- 6 players with the bye
R13- 4 players with the bye
R14- 8 players with the bye

Current premo mids

Keays
Steele
Macrae
Neale
Lyons

I’d be tempted by Laird if was you. Round 13 bye looks to suit your team

Eurgh Will "D8 all of 2021" Gould.

Have a few options this week. After doing Xerri to Carroll I have $402k to spend. That means only $358k to Parker which would be funded via Rachele and pocketing $115k. Or its $483k up to someone like Touk which would mean trading JHF and pocketing $155k for next week.

Think the first option one will leave my team more well rounded and a double Friday night trade has disaster all over it.

I think half of this week will be thinking of my trades - the other half trying to make sure I get the timing right with DPP switches etc - so I'm not left stuck and unable to get who I want....

Witherden and some other random in iso

Edit: other spud was Nelson so actually relevant…means no tag on Neale
plus 2 others the club hasn't named

Yeah but no one actually had B Smith from Round 1 surely? Steele has been more than fine and Touk starting to warm in now. Cripps and Neale were both good calls. My midfield was Steele, Macrae, Kelly, Cripps. If i could have had my time again and in hingsight, i'd have started Neale over Kelly and used the cash elsewhere, but honestly I wouldn't change either of Steele or Macrae.
