Seriously considering D Cameron
If not going top 6/8 then want really cheap and good bye.
Will also be DPP in rd 11/12.
Fits the bill of taking players that are first choice ruckmen with some scoring potential.
Gets a red dot sorted.
Hmmmmmmmmm.

Hmm trying to decide if i should do a double upgrade this week or 1 up and 1 down

Option 1 Daicos and Brodie up to 2 premos

Option 2 Daicos up to a premo and Brodie down to a rookie

Option 1 makes my team look so much better but i may have to miss Carrol to do it hmm

Sometimes i wish teams would be announced early so i can see who will be dropped as it will make my choice so much easier. Which of course would get ****ed up by covid outs anyway

Yeah I'm getting him. Can't see him not going at least 85-90 in that role, is a natural scorer when given the opportunity and there's 100 Grundy points available every game for someone to take. And will be ruck status just before the byes start (but too expensive to jump on then)

Also I need a bit of a hail Mary as last week really cooked my season so why not

Which 2 out of the following 4 would you field as your M7 and M8?
  • O'Driscoll
  • G.Clark
  • McComb
  • Horne-Francis

In general i would agree with this but WC have Bris so Clark may struggle to score.
Who knows what NODs role will be with all the outs and McCromb should be dropped(i don't want him to be)
Clark seemed to play wing first 3/4 on Friday and then into the mid. (Just off eye test haven't checked stats)

Fills all the stats apart from goals, reckon he goes ok even against the Bears.

Clark is a ball magnet and hits every stat line. He should go ok. He scored 110 in a 100 point loss last week.

Was just doing some future planning, and If I cut some corners, I genuinely think I'll be close to full premo (jury is still out on Cogs, Butters, Rozee and Preuss) by the time we come out of the byes. This is the side I was able to come up with given my current cash gen situation (will obvs get better as more rooks drop):

DEF: Short, Crisp, Hall, Hewett, Sic, Whit

MID: Steele, Bray, B. Smith, Neale, Cripps, Jelly, Wines, Guth

RUC: Gawn, Preuss (counting as a premo seeing as he's the third highest averaging ruck right now)

FWD: Dunks, TT, Parker, Cogs, Butters, Rozee (think with his CBA numbers he could go close to being that 6th forward - otherwise could be a straight swap to JDG once his momentum runs out)

***************

Planning would go something like:

Round 9: Ward > C. Stephens after coming in this week, C. Curnow > L. Parker

Round 10: Dixon > rook, Brodie > Guth (50Kish remaining)

Round 11: NOD > rook via SDK back, Daicos > Hall (200Kish remaining)

Round 12: Skinner to rook, Durdin to rook, N. Martin > Brayshaw

Round 13: McComb > rook (200Kish), Duncan > rook (450Kish), G. Clark > Wines (100Kish remaining)

Round 14: S. Hayes > rook, SDK > rook, C. Stephens > TT

**********************

If you'd have told me I'd have had that side as a possibility with 8 rounds to go, I would have told you that you're dreaming, haha - but that's the sort of year this is!
This post is how you tempt fate

It's definitely doable.

Vlastuin or Zorko? Vlastuin is 3/3 since returning for 100+ games and has a low BE for now. Zorko has a nice run of games coming up and can also produce 100+ games except for when he's bombed out.. only 13K price diff.

Hi Relish, welcome aboard!

At this point in the season it is probably best to trade in the player that suits your bye structure best.
Neither are R13 bye defenders which is where the gap appears to be.
Vlastuin stock is rising, Zorko still seems to be flip flopping between good score and bad scores.
For me Vlastuin in the short term and maybe Zorko for the long term.

I have both….. have traded Laird in this week after deciding between Crippa and him. That obviously could change later today haha. But you can’t go wrong with either. Keays will eke out a 100+ and Laird will do the same, both solid POD options
Yeah I think we'll all need one of them for the second half of the season. Their draw is nuts.
