Problem is, do we miss out on a cash cow rook by sidegrading crouch and Hewett? Or do we keep one for a week, get a good rook and premo?
My approach (right or wrong) is to not have premo players on the bench in Fantasy .....I only had $300K in the bank, so Crouch to Brayshaw was a no brainer

Hewett with his R12 Bye .....I'd also trade, most premo DEF are scoring similar .....Short if you don't have him

I've reverted my decision, i'm holding Hewett.

My trade options are as follows:

Option 1. Daicos & Hayes OUT, Stewart & McComb IN. Play Stewart & McComb on field.
Option 2. Hewett & Mead OUT, Stewart & McComb IN. Play Stewart & Daicos.

Both trades leave me with effectively the same players on field this week. Option 2 gives me McComb on the bench and some added protection / flexibility there, but other than that I don't expect McComb to score that much less than Daicos this week. The downside with Option 2 is that by next week I haven't really improved my side. If i DO hold Hewett and he does come back, even if that only a fifty/fifty chance, I suddenly have Stewart, Hewett and an Uber. Whereas if I trade Hewett now I have Stewart, an Uber and a rookie. I like the 50/50 chance at that line up.

I'm holding!

In hindsight I should have traded Cripps. I held him and brought in Laird via a typical one up, one down. If I’d traded Cripps it would have been for Gawn and I wouldn’t have missed his recent run of massive scores. And I could have traded Crippa in again the very next week.

Regardless of uncertainty around how long he’ll be out Hewett goes for me this week. He would have gone last week but I had higher priorities.

I have to prioritise Crouch first over Hewett. He's been omitted, so no guarantee of if/when he might be back, so he goes this week (and welcome L.Neale to my team).

Yeah that's the tricky part sideways trading premos with only 2 trades.

Only way you I see it being worth it is if you have heaps of cash itb to sideways Hew to a premo and afford another upgrade from a rookie/mid pricer in only the 2 trades. Otherwise sideways trading puts you behind in premos on field compared to ppl who hold.

Very annoying.

Could go Hewett and crouch to crisp and Cripps. But I feel like I need to prioritise one of the good rooks this week for future cash gen. So holding Hewett :(

Also have this conundrum, bloody tough one. Ranked just outside the top 1k so want to keep pushing

Rozee and Touk as a combo leaves me 60k next week, but means missing 1 of the rookies like Mccomb/Carroll. Guess there will be others

Another option is Noah Anderson and Parker

Haha, nah not NOD - but the same plan with Hewett on my mid bench being looped with McComb. I'm royally screwed if Daics is out, as NOD is already on field

Basically the below team if McComb goes < 75
Parker > Hewett reversed and back to my bench, with Reef out and Coop in if McComb goes > 75

Essentially the same plan as NOD in the backline, but with McComb in the mids instead :)

If Dacios is out could you change the E from Hayes to SDK and have 2 x Es in defence?

Noah Anderson has had a brilliant year so far. Great break even. Bringing him in this week for JHF.

That's sexy

I might go Hewitt and Ceouch out to Oliver and Touk.

But that means I miss Carroll and McComb.

I’ll grab coop Stephens if he holds next week.

Starting to build up a lot of rookie dead wood with McInnes and Sinn.

Hew might have to a be a trade

Not a bad thing. Removes a round 12 bye.

Might see how NOD goes tonight. If he spuds, I can trade Hew and keep Daicos otherwise full steam ahead and I'll upgrade Hewett to Stewart next week for the bye if he's still out.

Only $300k in the bank. Fk me. My fantasy bank balance mirrors my real bank balance. I'm always scrounging for the last dollar.

I had Xerri still on my bench .....just cashing my assets in .....still have J.Hayes on my bench too

I wish I had that luxury. I'm trusting Noddy on the field vs North to at least get a 65.

Need Hew in the mids to loop McComb and Carroll.

Plus if Daicos is a late out I don't need want spuds Paddy or SDK on my field.

Yeh I've largely changed my mind now.. think ill trade Hewitt. Although I'll wait till NODs score comes through, if its 80+ then I might hold, but now leaning towards sideways and then using my bank to get daicos up

OUT: Tim Kelly IN: Dangerfield . I think Danger has more potential to score higher than Tim Kelly this week

OUT: Willie Rioli IN : Cam Rayner . Willie is injured this week , and Brisbane could slaughter the Eagles.

Switched Captain from Mills to Lachie Neale

Bench at the moment: Greg Clark, O'Driscoll (for midfielders)
How do you reckon the rain forecasted for the Brisbane game will impact scoring?

Do I dump Hewett before Crouch, and hope that Crouch dominates in the SANFL ?

(Xerri to Gawn has to be done this week, can't be fielding Hayes at R2 anymore)
it's tough....think Crouch is a better chance to play next week but hew is a top 6 lock (when fit) and crouch is not even a top 20 mid. Don't think crouch is worth holding even if he returns next week so I would trade him. Also, crows said they would send Milera to the sanfl for a couple of weeks to find form, 6-7 weeks later and he's not even an emergency
