I like your plan. Just keep upgrading unless you’re going to cop a red dot. I reckon I had more rooks at end of last year than I do right now this year because I was trading red dots rather than copping the bench guy for a week.

This year it seems that everyone will have enough trades to get rookies off their starting line up

therefore the big difference by rd 16 will be who upgraded to the better premiums

As such, i think its super important this year to upgrade to only uber premiums, and not settle for cheaper options

I tried that last year but that was different as I didn’t know what I was doing at the start so didn’t have strong enough cash gen.

I’ll see where the next 3 weeks take me getting the mid pricers out and then work out where last 2 rooks stand and guys like Hewett and Sic if I have enough cash gen to genuinely upgrade them.

but given the AFL teams I assume havent been confirmed for Brisbane v West Coast, why are the Brisbane players with question marks?



I did have Greg Clark in my team but hearing that he is not playing, ive traded him with one of my backup midfielders.

I did have Greg Clark in my team but hearing that he is not playing, ive traded him with one of my backup midfielders.

They’ll stay question marks until team named tonight.

I’d hold Clark for the week though. He will generate good cash for you and should be reliable to field.

Get an Uber premo for him if you can

I can still get JHF up to Neale this week and bench Crouch. Has happy to get 80-90 from him with potential upside as he builds fitness (and good draw coming). The Crows board think he'll be back next week. Tough decision.

10/7/9 and four basically dead rooks.

If I go off of this team,

Def: Short, Crisp, Stewart, Whitfield, Hewett, Sicily
Mid: Steele, Mills, Oliver, Uber, Macrae, Cripps, Kelly, Clark
Ruc: Gawn, English
Fwd: Dunkley, Coniglio, Butters, Martin, Rookie, Rookie

That bye structure becomes:

11/10/7 and whatever other rookies I get.

Looking at that, getting Hewett back in might actually not be an option until after the Bye.

With Holmes out for a decent period he should last until the byes imo as we don't have anyone worth bringing in for him and when Selwood is back should boot Narkle out.
