302k ITB and looking for suggestions. The above was my first instinct after lockout
tbh i wouldnt bother with Cameron... he's just a weird price and also not really sure if he's a keeper or not.... he's basically this weeks rozee, and see how rozee owners are regretting it

Imo i'd just send daicos back, give butters one more week, and downgrade durdin to a rookie who plays this week, and upgrade bowey to any uber premium mid

All just imo... if you are sold on cameron then go for it

Looks like you don't need help. Those trades are pretty good. I'm not convinced on Cameron but he should make good cash either way.

Pretty big luxury to be able to sideways Butters to a legit premo. That's one week's planning ahead of most.

I think he tears up North given his downhill sking ways so depends if you want him in this week or just to get rid of the problem now.

Don’t really know what to do this week…

I can upgrade Rowell to a fallen premo if I dump NOD early. $846k if I get Stephens as the rook.

Or I can sideways Rowell to Cameron ride his price rises and his good bye. Pocket $54k and then what? Lol butters isn’t worth upgrading for $690k there is no one. Cogs could become Duncan? Or just go Reef to Stephens bank another $56k to upgrade Bowey next week? 🥴

Edit: Rowell to Stephens and Dixon to Duncan works nicely (Martin to the mids seems he scores like he’s a mid not a forward)

Like it
Jelly ? Wines ? Other ideas.

What can Darcy Cameron average? Is this another Preuss situation?

As things stand, the 10th forward is averaging 88. Other than Dunkley no one is setting the world alight, could Cameron be a season keeper potentially?

85+ until things change

Nice

Getting in Clark (if he is named in of course) and a big mid. Thinking either Brayshaw/Oliver/Petracca/Laird.

Petracca is the cheapest and will allow me to do another big upgrade next week but I have serious FOMO from missing out on Brayshaw all this time so I might just grab him.

Early stage thinking JHF > Hobbs/Clark for cash generation and Butters > D. Cameron. Leaves me with about 550k in the bank to make some serious moves the week after.

I would argue Cameron is closer to a must have than someone to pass on. Rozee is only a fourth year player who had to vs the dogs ball hogs and the Cairns game where only two players tonned.

Cameron is a ready made ruckman who finally has opportunity, probably hungry to prove himself given hes been behind first rucks for 8 years or so. He lost to Witts in hit outs (everyone loses to Witts) and Nank who almost brokeven with Gawn a few weeks ago. He gets Stef or English this week who leak points to ruckman. Dogs are also crap in the air around the ground. When he does get a look at a weaker ruck opposition then we could see a 120+ score.

Unlike last year we have an absurd amount of cash to play with, by R18 when Grundy is back, I expect everyone to have a finished team. He has shown a good enough ceiling to be worth trading in for at 530k.

DEF: Dawson, Whitfield, Sicily, Bowey, Day, Coleman (O'Driscoll, McCartin)
MID: Brayshaw, Oliver, Neale, Cripps, Kelly, Green, Serong, Brodie (Reef, Owens)
RUCK: Gawn, Preuss (Hayes, Hayes)
FWD: Dunkley, Heeney, Coniglio, Butters, Martin, Cameron (Durdin, Windhager).

88k in cash. Not quite sure what to do.

Current ideas are... If I do Bowey + J. Hayes I can get Clark and Zorko, but doesn't get Coleman off the field and doesn't get Clark onto it. Otherwise was thinking Butters + Hayes for Clark and Zorko, gets Coleman off field via Brodie DPP and gives me 200+ to put on top of Bowey/Day next week?

Gone JHF > Cameron, Mead > Stephens

Rookie correction doesn't feel great but seems the smart move. 230k next week for another upgrade, eyeing off English I reckon

Nice
Wines been the one that tempts me. I only have Cripps with R12 bye and 11 mids so 10 can’t play R12 lol.

Also considering dumping Bowey and fielding Noddy. Sucks with WC this week but NOD has money to make, plays GC and realistically is fieldable. Would need to upgrade quick.

This would allow up to $940k mid

Also has the R14 bye and ruck DPP to come before then, which will be very handy for bye management.

Those of you who have Dixon and are trying to get some more green dots, are we trading or holding? Jamieson looks like the only decent downgrade option but not sure on his JS.

I’m holding atm. He’s on the fringe of selection, it’s possible the Eagles didn’t want to risk his dicky calf on a long flight for a tough game in the wet.

Also if I get Cameron then Dixon will be handy for switching him between my ruck and forward lines for rounds 12 and 13.

What position do you have him? R3?
Yep, R3.

The flight makes sense, didn't think of that. Seems like everyone is getting Cameron in this week haha. When's the second lot of DPP positions announced? Before or after rd 12?

Got to hope Bray gets tagged. Wines good option but terrible bye. Tracc scoring always up and down. But I'll do whatever I can to get Laird. I'm fixated on him given his role, bye and fixture coming up.

Probably Butters or Rozee is my avenue to one of these 900k guys in the next couple weeks because it can't be two rookies.
I will repeat what i said in the rolling 22 thread. If Matt Crouch got dropped last week then Laird needs to be dropped this week.

As a Keays & Dawson owner I've watched Adelaide closely last two weeks and to my surprise I think Sam Berry might be learning how to football; has always been a tackler but is actually starting to get the oval-shaped yellow thing in his hands sometimes now too.

Getting high CBAs so always around the ball. Will seriously consider him as an under-priced forward option.
Shhhhhhhhhhh!!!

He's my alternate for Cameron this week, but if I stick with Cameron and he goes well again this week- straight in next week (really going under the radar for most)
