Do we all think Tracc is top 8? He went 116 or something post bye last year. It will be hard to fade him. But I already have Oliver which I kind of regret because I told ppl he lacked a ceiling and still picked him! My mids spot are shrinking.

I still likely plan to get Laird for Butters next week. Or could get Brayshaw. I don't have Laird, Tracc, Mills, Brayshaw or Smith with 3 spots left.

Exercise: Pick 3 of these 5 for a top 8 spot for the rest of season (who scores the most?)

Laird
Tracc
Mills
Brayshaw
Smith

Help. I think I am leaning fading Smith (scores slowing, young, uncertain role) and Brayshaw (scores slowing, still young, fyfe, tags)?

Mills and Brayshaw the standouts, agree to fade Smith (outside chance fo getting forward status though), think you can't go wrong with either Laird or Trac.

10-20mm forecast for Sunday.

Any concern for Juicy Preussy in those conditions and a first week of the new coach?

I'm stuck at a crossroads of whether to get on board or not. Its now or never.

If I don't grab Pruess now, I'm fielding hayes again this week. And the mid I'd want is Wines who also locks out same time as Hayes, so I dont even get a look at Hayes... a real dillema.

I could see Pruess scoring 50 or 150 in those conditions. Hard to see which way it falls.
Fingers crossed he has some struggles, campaigner has been burning me every week since Grundy got injured.

I had pretty much the same and Neale
Neale or Brayshaw over Kelly would have been a great start for me, although Kelly coming good now. I was always picking Whitfield and while it probably would have been better to have selected Treloar and Heeney over Butters and Cogs, all the forwards are really much of a muchness this year apart from Duncs.

Deciding on Laird with like 110k spare or wines with around 230k spare.

What does everyone see Laird and wines averaging?

Feel wines will average 110 and will be 10 points under priced. Laird not much value but a consistent 115 guy and lock for top 8

Just a little stat on Lloyd, when he’s had 4 or more marks this year his average is 101. He’s also had 4 and 5 tackles the last two weeks, I wonder if that’s a coach directive to be more defensive

He’s not the absolute most have of previous years, but I think he’s still a great option atm. Down 82k on starting price. I can see him averaging 95+ from here

I'd pick Laird mate, looks the better overall option. Plenty of time to make small changes later on, pick the best available

Wines and 120k extra thanks. You can do a lot with that cash.

Cogs to Mills or Butters to Petracca?

Cogs plays WCE and Petracca plays North. So logic says the 2nd trade. But, Mills has an insane ceiling and needs to get in my team asap.

Any advice fellas?

Looks like I'm holding Cogs and waiting a week on Wines.

Dixon > Khamis
Bowey > Stewart

Just don't trust Rich or Lloyd enough I don't think.

Gives me a backline of Short, Stewart, Zorko, Sicily, Hewett and Whitfield.

Martin > Wines & McInnes > Long/Soligo next week.

I reckon that's true of 99.5% of us here too. We just prefer to faff around with trades during the week instead of doing work :D
Thanks for the reminder, I've got a meeting to go to...

It’s funny isn’t it, you hear at the start of the week people discussing say a Wines and think “no need to read that, not looking for a mid” then come Thursday night one of your mids is out and you need to do new research and start reading the thread again haha

Laird 115 IMO because after the next 2 games he has the easeist schedule in the league

Wines 110

So Wines is the best value in the game if you can afford another rd 12 bye player

Blakey took 9 kickouts to Lloyd's 2 on the weekend.

If he does not have a monopoly on the kickouts I don't like him as an option. I think he keeps going at 90ish and don't see the upside. Swans want the ball in younger players hands now
