Wines, byes be damned. But he's cheap.Whos the best mid to get in right now
Some how don't ask me how, he manged to be on the ground for most centre bouncesI think we're the only 2 then rolling Hayes R2 and anti- Pruess.
I dont really understand still why Pruess scores so well off such low TOG. I just know he's going to tank at some point if GWS start playing quicker/attacking footy, he'll be no better than Sam Hayes.
But alas, the way it's turned out everyone else has dropped off and there's almost no other options.
Darcy? Injury prone
Marshall? Ryder caps him
English - coming back off a hammy and now the flu will take some time to get to 100%.. plus Bevo might decide to give him some help again with Sweet or Stef.
Pruess legit may end up being the R2 for the year.
I'll be grabbing Pruess this week I think. But I will get the chance at seeing hayes score first. If he goes 65+ I might be tempted to upgrade elsewhere and wait another week on Pruess.... I know he's going to fall apart as soon as I get him.
You guys don't all have Sam Hayes on your field?
Only in Round 14!You guys don't all have Sam Hayes on your field?
Brayshaw Miller bestWhos the best mid to get in right now
Don't worry, I was the same as you two - this week I need to decide whether to finally move Hayes on to Preuss or up to Gawn, which impacts whether I go a Wines type or Laird/Brayshaw/etc.I think we're the only 2 then rolling Hayes R2 and anti- Pruess.

Ewww...
Nah but seriously. Preuss is the one trade that I actually feel so good about, even all these rounds of crap later. Got Preuss in off no games, because I'd had a gutful of Grundy and wanted Lachie Neale (who I meant to start with but faded at the last moment). Cost me 367K, which is cheaper than what Hayes is at now, so it's been such a win.
Genuinely surprised when someone doesn't have Gawn + Preuss as their one and two, as he's still potentially undervalued given he's averaging near 100 and he's got the ruck position locked down. I suppose though, that it was only a viable play when he was really cheap, as you essentially got another premo mid in instead. I'd assume on that basis, that you have an extra premo mid too?
What's the safe word you guys use in the anti-Preuss gang?I think we're the only 2 then rolling Hayes R2 and anti- Pruess.
I guess if he's off the ground at the time, they sub someone to get him on for it?Some how don't ask me how, he manged to be on the ground for most centre bounces
Rarely misses one almost like he rucks in the guts and then goes has a rest

Don't you dare bad mouth my boy Wittsy, he's been great.Best move I made was moving Witts to Preuss mid-Rd1. Had Hayes as emergency, took his score knowing Preuss was most likely playing Rd2.

Haha yep, Witts has been a good choice too. Saved me 200k though and didn't lose out on anything!Don't you dare bad mouth my boy Wittsy, he's been great.
Yeah.Preuss looks like he could break at any moment to be honest.
After every contest he's holding his wrist or arm or limping. If he keeps this up the whole year I'd be shocked tbh
I'm ready to cash in whenever the train comes off the tracks.
To be fair most rucks look like they are about to break this year. I don't trust any of them to be fit for the rest of the year or not to be dropped in the case of rookies.Preuss looks like he could break at any moment to be honest.

Sausage Mumford is getting Re-DraftedWhat's the safe word you guys use in the anti-Preuss gang?
God knows you've been forced to come up with one by now
Thought it just would have been "Leon" but there goes that oneSausage Mumford is getting Re-Drafted
Yeah.
I'm 100% bitter but I think all owners are a bit kissed with how it's played out haha. Pruess as a 100averaging ruckman... who would've said that with a straight face at the start of the year!?
I thought he'd be broken down by now, but the double edged sword of all these ruckman out is he doesnt even have an opponent most weeks. Or atleast not one worth their salt.
It's a no-win scenario now as a non-Pruess owner. Join the heard and seal the loss. Or wait it out stubbornly and be incredibly vulnerable to copping Hayes 30-50s each week until a viable alternative emerges?
If Ryder went down.... I'd be all over Marshall in a heartbeat.
mature aged player that would be ready to go as opposed to an 18/19yo kid should be fieldable. But yes his problem is that he's probably better suited to state league footy and wont playI've always been confused where the Tsitas chat came from, I'd be extremely surprised if he comes in this year. Bowes still has to come back, constable is there if needed and I'd have Holland's before also (in now tbh)
In the bests most weeks in the VFLI've always been confused where the Tsitas chat came from, I'd be extremely surprised if he comes in this year. Bowes still has to come back, constable is there if needed and I'd have Holland's before also (in now tbh)
And on top of that, what role does he play at AFL level? He's a relatively small bloke so I'd be concerned that he ends up as a pressure fwd or something similar rather than playing the midfield role he does at vfl level.I've always been confused where the Tsitas chat came from, I'd be extremely surprised if he comes in this year. Khamis. Might not have the scoring ceiling but JS should be better with the Dogs need for forwards.Khakis or Cleary?
