Last photo I saw he looked like he had just finished kemo.
The last I saw, he looked like he was close to his playing weight .....big difference to the images from November

What's the word on Dusty's training been ?
Been training well
Still think he’s an upgrade target
The new holding the ball rule won’t suit players like him and Cripps who stand up in tackles and try to take them on

Dusty always falls in price and is a safe trade in target for his durability. Starting a Duncan type who has the potential to average 105+ but is getting nagging injuries is a smarter option imo. I’d rather trade into Dusty then into Duncan if that makes sense as I think it’s safer. More upside in starting Duncan

Dusty is back to playing weight I believe, and some suggestion he could spend a little more time in the midfield than the last couple of years. A big 6 month break could be quite beneficial after 4 or 5 pretty crazy years, he's a big watch in pre-season games imo

I think that depends on how Edwards, Prestia, Cotchin and Lambert go.
If you guys get 22 games from those blokes Dusty could end up with the same role as the last few years.
A couple of them get an injury or 2 and he would have to pay mid I reckon.

Those guys all missed big chunks of last season and dusty was still playing forward quite a bit pre injury. Pretty well publicised that Dusty largely plays and puts himself where he sees fit, the last couple of years that has mostly been taking the CBAs and then drifting forward to the goal square. There's some talk the thinking there might have changed a bit and he will spend longer periods in the middle, but its all just rumour and means nothing till they start playing. Might be right that he is better as an upgrade target but I think he could quite easily shoot back to the top of the pile in terms of that forward group.

Tarryn Thomas is my 1 premo forward lock at this stage, reckon he's primed to explode

IMO your defence and forward lines are still premiership quality. Probably rucks also.
The age / injury history of your mids has to be the worry.
Most likely he has to play midfield as those bloke will get injured.
Yes on Tarryn. Jet.

Oh man, i'm getting to that point where i look at ownership and my team goes completely in the bin for POD alternatives.

I think Degoey is like Stringer.
He will always be low ownership because of flog status.
No dickheads rule in full flight.

My latest one of those was ditching Butters for Weller, given what's been coming out around Weller playing a seagull role off half-back.
Be very careful of the AFL Club's propaganda machines, at this time of the year ....Membership Season ....all draftees are future Superstars ...players training the house down

Pick players on historical scores .....scoring trends over the last half of 2021 season .....or role changes, like Hall going back to HB ....but see it in PS games first, don't believe any Coach on new roles ....they lie !

lol, the Suns don't have a propaganda machine. Barely anything at all on the social's this off season.

But yes, Weller is a wait and see. Wouldn't lock him in yet.

IF Weller does play HBF ......has scored 80's ave ....do you think he'd have a 20 point ave increase in him ?

Yeah, everything's provisional. If Weller isn't in that role in pre-season, Butters and Heeney are on my watchlist to take that role.
I expect him too play half back. He's been doing so in the match sim's according to the few training reports on the Suns page/fb. Sharing kick out's with Powell. Can't see him being very accountable defensively. Looks promising tbh.

If this soft kent can, Weller definitely can. Suns trying to play faster/more attacking this year apparently (not sure if this changes with King out), can see that suiting Weller's game. preseason watch though.
