Yeah 348k playing as a pure inside MID with a chance at becoming a FWD premo vs losing 80k and becoming a pure winger and MID only. It's a pass for me but the kid has talent.
yeah, if he's playing inside i'll heavily consider him. I honestly don't rate Shiel at all so i'm a bit more optimistic of his chances.

Any interest in Charlie Constable? Got him lined up at M6 just ahead of JHF and diacos.

At a very tasty price of $213,400

He won't and he isn't.

You'll be trading him out straight away when he breaks down, again.
Its December now.
Come March if he hasn't had an injury that is a pretty good run.
6-8 x games at 85 average is all I would need. He is absolutely capable of that.
You don't really need him to become a keeper he would be a stepping stone.
He has twice gone 110+ over a season, at 255k starting price he has to be looked at.

AFL news 2021: Stephen Coniglio interview, trade to Western Australia, rumours, whispers, struggles at GWS Giants, injuries, form woes, last two years, seasons (foxsports.com.au)

GWS Giants skipper Stephen Coniglio has admitted he’s endured a “tough couple of years” where the midfielder’s been limited to just 23 AFL appearances.

“Being away, having more to worry about than just footy - in terms of how guys are going being away from families and kids and being in a really different environment,” he said. “For me personally, it was hard at times not being able to contribute on the field. Form-wise, I wasn‘t at my absolute best … but as things stand now, I’m in a really good headspace and my body’s feeling as good as it has for a long time. I’ve had a tough couple of years, no doubt. At times I love my back against the wall and have that eye of the tiger to want to come back and to want to really push forward with this team and try and win something.”

Hasn't been any good SC wise for 5 years, really only had 2 good seasons. 13 games in three seasons. Out of contract this year so playing for his future, but surely St Kilda play a kid instead of him and he retires at the end of the year.

You're better off with a high priced rookie, who starts $50-100k cheaper so don't need to score as well to make the same money.

But hey, each to their own.

I'd be more confident with Josh Ward on-field.

Pretty sad tale of a once very good player.

Jye Caldwell?

266k seems a bargain considering he looked very good before he got injured and was a popular choice up forward for even more last year. Lost DPP but could be a really good M5/6 stepping stone, 80-90 average would make nearly 200k.

I actually really like this, if he's a key part of the bombers midfield as he was last year then he's nearly a lock for mine.
I started him last year which burned me a bit. Looked good in the preseason last year. Obv the same injury risk is there again this year. I’m a bit unsure of starting him this year. There are a couple of extra options at the bombers that might demand midfield minutes ahead of him aren’t there? Parish has come on. Dylan Sheil back from injury. Did Langford start playing some midfield minutes?

Having said that at that price he really doesn’t need to do that much to be a good pick.

Can someone please explain Kaidean Coleman to me? I’m seeing his name bandied about.

18 games and a top score in the 80s.

Averaged 48 last year.

I hardly saw any Brissy games last year so I assume he must look like a million bucks, have been completely unfit last year, and and be a shoe in for a halfback distributor role. . .

But even so. He averaged 48. The only way is up?

he moved into the half back role late in the season/finals.

These scores are why people are interested + he's very likely to be in that role again with Birchall retired

Hmm.

I mean those score really ain’t anything to write home about are they?

If he passes the eye test in the preseason then . . . I guess so. Without a lot of confidence or enthusiasm.

yeah he seems ok, i'm not going out of my way to get him in my team but if we're lacking def or fwd rookies then he'll be serviceable

Average of those three games in that role is 84.6, priced at 48 as you have said, presents a bit of value wouldn't you reckon? Looked good enough in the role to keep it. I have ummed and aahed a little about him myself, and he's not guaranteed to keep the role, but he's as good potential value as anyone. DPP def/fwd will be handy

Yeah, I guess that’s fair enough.

I do like myself a midpricers or four, and poor old Milera is no guarantee to make it through the preseason, so I suppose having a watch in Coleman in the preseason games can’t hurt.

I just want to see how many plebs pick Milera, premier midfielder of the future who is flying in the pre sesason averaging 220 only for him to break a toe nail in round 2 and be out for the year. ;)

WaynesWorld19

Pleb or no, if Milera makes it through the preseason I’m almost certain to get burned by him.
