The Northern kid seems to be in our sights, though at her size I would have figured she might have slid a few picks.
You talking about Zarlie Goldsworthy?

Northern in the NAB League, so Rylie Wilcox. Haven't been through the other candidates much yet.You talking about Zarlie Goldsworthy?
Shocking draft pick swap…
Maybe the plan is to get the 2023 drafts pick 1 and a priority thrown in for good measure. No clue what their doing
CARLTON now holds consecutive first-round selections after the end of the AFLW Sign and Trade Period.
The Blues hold picks 17 and 18, with the former involved in the Phoebe McWilliams deal, while the latter came from Richmond via Hawthorn, with Grace Egan ending up at the Tigers.

With all the important players lost through moving on, as well as not being compensated at for Maddy or Gee, it looks to be we have given away a extra early round teen pick for a very small upgrade altogether..No clue what their doing

This is the only possible explanation. Having consecutive picks almost guarantees that they can't be trumped on a particular player that they're expecting to go around the 8/9 mark. We just have to wait and see ...With all the important players lost through moving on, as well as not being compensated at for Maddy or Gee, it looks to be we have given away a extra early round teen pick for a very small upgrade altogether..
There’s obviously a player they have in mind that they feel the need to do this, but we have thrown away an entire extra early teen draft pick that with the exodus of players lost, most in our best22, that we would see it vital for our list of having another talented kid at that range an important addition to our list…
See how it pans out…
That's Mrs Peterson to you (and me). Some good news.
2 more years for Kez
Have also posted in her player thread.

It's not this year in isolation. It's the last 3 in totality. It's not just about the number of players, though. It's also about their quality and their importance to the side they're leaving.
Look at the Suns who have also lost 7 players.
Baird - 1 game
Perkins - 10 games, 6 goals - 9th in B&F
Dunn - 9 games
Surman - 10 games, 4 goals, 7th in B&F
Yorston - 8 games
Perry - 1 game
Hammond - 7 games
Compare that to those who we've lost:
Georgia Gee - 10 games, 5 goals
Maddy Prespakis - 10 games - B&F winner
Charlotte Wilson - 3 games
Nicola Stevens- 10 games, 7 goals
Grace Egan - 7 games
Lauren Brazzale - 5 games
Courtney Jones - 9 games, 8 goals
There's no fair comparison to be made is there? It's not a "woe is me" attitude to suggest that this period has been a disaster for the club, and that's not even considering what we've received (or in some cases, didn't receive) in return for the above departures.
