Tom Brady has missed 16 of a possible 396 games in his career (4%). Since the 49ers passed on signing him in the 2020 off-season, their starting QBs (JG/Lance/Purdy) have missed a combined 21 of 56 games (38%).

This number does not include the Trey Lance injury as Jimmy G stepped in. If you include that injury, it would be 41 of 76 opportunities (53%).

Tommy missed all those games in one season when he did his acl - his durability is pretty ridiculous and weirdly never mentioned.

Honestly can anyone imagine Brady, Payton, Eli, rivers, favre missing a play let alone 3/4 of the nfccg with a little elbow tap

Nearly defined as one win away over the season.

And I include regular season in the one win more needed. Would have been a home NFC game and therefore no idiots hanging jerseys on Rocky

Still needed to find some way for Steven Gerrard to stay away to secure the win.

I didn't realise we had the chance to get him but actually passed on him in 2020. In any case, the past is the past and things change. If Kyle didn't want him then and still doesn't want him now (even for 1 or 2 seasons which makes sense if Lance is the future, and he is coming off knee injuries) then I'd be shaking Kyle's hand for good services rendered and showing him the door and welcoming in Brady. We do this because coaches are a dime a dozen but Superbowl QB's are so hard to find. We are in the gun right now to go all the way but clearly, we have a QB issue. Fix it and fix it NOW! If not Brady, then pull Steve Young out of the box. Hell, even give Terry Bradshaw a shot.

How is stat averaged over the course of a season not relevant. Why do you think it’s not meaningful ? And who are you to decide what stats are meaningful or not

Plus any analysis that does not agree with yours just gets you to throw out insults or comments like you’re awful at thinking.

Looks like I was right

With the Eagles win today, Philadelphia can become the first city to lose three professional sports championships in the span of about 3 months.

On November 5, 2022, the Philadelphia Union of the MLS and the Phillies of MLB both lost in the championship round. If the Eagles lose, Philadelphia would have lost three championships in a little over 3 months. A first for professional sports.
