Cant find any info anywhere...Does anyone know if the Collingwood game is a replacement game?

95% sure it's not. Aren't all our replacement games at Marvel, anyway? Pies game is at the G

Hawks round 1 at the G this year was a replacement game.

Good point, I even went! :$

Can't see any tickets in the app for the Pies game, but that could mean anything

Seriously? Or is the club just somehow fudging the numbers? It was updated to 48,007 only a few days ago and we're suddenly to believe that despite the club's present dilemmas that 632 people suddenly decided to do a last minute sprint to join our ranks before the end of the financial year.

How on Earth does that work? :)

If you want to keep your consecutive years of membership status you need to sign on by a certain date. I thought it was the end of July, but 632 people may have thought it was the end of the financial year.
There could be tax deductible factors involved for employees too.

We shutup and bought 632 memberships. Surprised it wasn't more.

Clubs been doing phone calls to people who were past members and haven't signed up yet.

Really? Wow I bet that they must get quite a few respond to being cold called by saying "If I haven't re-signed or renewed my membership by June then there's probably a jolly good reason". I'm guessing that there's a financial incentive from the AFL for them doing this, and does the club offer to pay people to re-sign. Further, does the club automatically put their membership on auto-renewal? It sounds and smells a bit dodgy.

Updated tally number?

1 more month to add to it?

And due to women’s having 2 seasons this year would any of the upcoming memberships count to this years tally or next? Either way there will be 2 seasons worth of aflw memberships that will end up counting for the 1 year (Be it this year or next)

Bit of a left-field question;

For members who take young kids to the footy with them (or for those who did when their kids were young), what sort of membership arrangement works best do you find?

I currently have a L2 reserved seat membership, but that would be wasted on my daughter and I don't want to shell out $700 for her to have a reserved seat next year just so she can sit with me when we start going together.

Not sure what the best arrangement is going to be though.

Hmm.

Mine had just a standard kids membership to get access to the ground til about 4 years old. Then I bit the bullet and bought the the saved reserved seats as us

Do what’s best for you mate and your family as long as your a member and attend games that all that counts.
As a lot of the fair whether supporters that are SO CALLED MEMBERS of this club don’t even attend games.

Where were you guys sitting on the standard kids membership?

Might be worth just keeping standard kids membership for them and retain your reserved seat and buy a kid's reserved seat pass when needed. I assume it would only be a few games/year for a while.

Reserved seats on level 1 and 2 over the years. Thankfully being north supporters the chances of having an empty seat next to us is high so they could sit in their own seat most times. Worst case the wife held them whilst I held the beers.
