What do you mean by this? Why would being an unused medisub/emergency in the AFL count towards your WAFL game tally?
Its in the rule book

I should clarify but I believe it MAY be travelling sub/emergency

This actually means Banfield is probably eligible?

My guess is that it makes it fairer for a player now when they are emergency seeing as we take 2 with us, its unfair if they miss out on eligibility while not playing anywhere

EDIT: and now I can't find where I got this rule from lol, I definitely read it on something WAFL official
EDIT2: Found it but may actually be outdated info tbh WAFL News - WAFL Finals Rules & Regulations

Definitely outdated looks, like its the 2003 WAFL site LOL

By these rules Colyer should be eligible for next week

final 4 Home and away games:heavycheck:
2 finals :heavycheck:
= 6 league games

then hits the requirement of 2 of the last 8 home and away games

Rule (i) only stipulates 6 league games, not 6 home and away league games

obviously we have to win anyway so could be a moot point

EDIT: These are sourced from 2022 https://www.wafooty.com.au/download/d/V-I85I9P6ftqvjDLwNlFvdzM0JpOLYiBbprIcfTAaxw

no Collyer cannot play as he has played more afl games then wafl games.he has played 9 afl games so now that the dockers are out he won't be allowed to play next week.and these are the 2022 rules.

In order to qualify for the WAFL Finals AFL listed players must fulfill the requirements of the current AFL/WAFL Service agreement. AFL listed players must have played in at least 5 games in order to qualify for WAFL finals, in the same way as a player who has played WAFL League having to have played 5 reserves games in order to qualify for Reserves Finals selection. AFL listed players must also have played more WAFL League games than AFL games. If an AFL player has been named as an emergency for his AFL club and travels with the team or if the AFL Player has been named as an emergency for his AFL Club when they play at home and does not participate in that AFL Fixture, that emergency game will be credited towards the minimum of five (5) WAFL qualifying matches in the relevant season unless his WAFL team have a bye on that same round of games.
Old rules

Those aren't the rule, I posted the rules earlier, straight from the 2022 rulebook
