Not so sure, he's a good player but might not be worth the hassle. Collingwood are mad if they give him big money.Degoey has a brilliant season ....he then has more suitor clubs to play-off against COLL
I remember when no club was willing to take Dusty in his first big Contract year .....afraid of a chop-sticks tiradeNot so sure, he's a good player but might not be worth the hassle. Collingwood are mad if they give him big money.
Maybe North will get their big signing this timeI remember when no club was willing to take Dusty in his first big Contract year .....afraid of a chop-sticks tirade
Big mistake by all clubs .....if they had their time again
Maybe North will get their big signing this time
Felt they were the safest picks (pending Terloar's fitness) out of forwards that I could envision being there at the end of the season.Taranto and Treloar are interesting picks. What's the thinking there? I don't really see either having much upside.
Love perma-captain SP Gould

I think Thomas, Butters, and De Goey all have more upside, but the latter 2 have their own question marks. Thomas' last handful of matches last year make him appealing, but Treloar and Taranto have more runs on the board and thus inspire more confidence that they will be around the mark of the top few forwards.
He's an absolute jet. I'm just weary that he'll spend more time forward because of his ability to hit the scoreboard. Particularly given the addition of Greenwood to the Kangas midfield.Don't be surprised if Tarryn Thomas is in the top 6 forwards at the end of the year. His trajectory to this point has been outstanding. With more midfield time, the ability to impact fwd of centre whilst increasing his playing time (76.1% TOG in 2021) can only improve. Almost a bankable for me.

The gradual increase and then breakout (+30) form his previous year. 4 hundreds and another 5 90+ scores from his 21 games suggests he could be bankable. Its easy to make excuses and reasons to break something that aint broken but he played exceptionally well in 2021. Expecting similar, if not better output in 2022.He's an absolute jet. Good point regarding Cunnington, but I'm not sure Anderson is in their best 22 regardless. They've got Greenwood, Simpkin, and LDU as their likely starting midfield, and then Powell and Phillips to rotate through there. I think Thomas is in their top few midfielders, but he's also a significantly better forward than those players.Cunnington could be out for a while though, and Jed Anderson's still up in the air.

cheers mateVery nice! You know your stuff
haha yeah, fair call thatI wouldn't recommend starting Toby Greene mate
I was tempted by Brodie Kemp but that tweeter seems to be historically very hit or miss and with the ACL and lack of playing time in 2021, I decided to skip but firmly on my watch list.
Agree and the Roos have a few mids who don’t really play anywhere else. also agree Thomas is a jet. He's an absolute jet. I'm just weary that he'll spend more time forward because of his ability to hit the scoreboard. Particularly given the addition of Greenwood to the Kangas midfield.
Also wanna note that Jed Anderson might not be playing due to not being vax.. so Greenwood theoretically could be taking his spot. He's an absolute jet. I'm just weary that he'll spend more time forward because of his ability to hit the scoreboard. Particularly given the addition of Greenwood to the Kangas midfield.
