The thing is the Lions have already been effected by Covid if anything they’re probably the safest team to pick players fromWith that many players from any team, if COVID strikes, you'd be in big strife.
Not too much to dislike there. I am leaning toward Neale at M4 as well. Just seems to balance the side much better. Degoe and Butters the risk because they need to take that next step to be worthwhile. But most of us will be risking these types T Thomas etc.I keep coming back to this set-up for some reason. Ideally a cheap(ish) Fwd rookie will present for F5 so I can hold 100k in the bank for corrective trades. But apart from that, I'm happy to go with these 14 keepers (including Cogs) at this stage + Curnow and most of the higher end rookies on-field.

Pretty similar to mine except I have Rowell instead of JHF. Had to take a hair cut in the forwards with Rayner instead of your De Goey.I keep coming back to this set-up for some reason. Do you see Grundy matching Gawn? Or still 5-10 points a week behind?

Forward rookies are the issue. Not sure on Butters either.I could tweak mine so it has both De Goey & Rowell
Out: JHF, Curnow, Sinn
In: Rowell, Maginness, Dean
Not sure it would score any better than the previous version though.

Rowell seems better value than Butters. Both injury risks. Rowell 100% locked in the mids. Butters might move around.
12 premos.Thoughts? I think I might have gone a bit crazy in mid price madness forward line
henney is a toss between thomas/butters/heeney

The first team I have seen without Macrae and Seagull.V2
Going with a 1 keeper per club at this stage, prob need Perez to get a game for it to work.

Extra $$$ are always hard to come by, but by all reports Sic is back to his best at training.
Not bad.I could tweak mine so it has both De Goey & Rowell

rioli or rayner in their positions might he higher ranked but rowell outscores them both surelyNot bad.
I think a Rioli or Rayner type are more of a chance to be keepers than Rowell but I understand the attraction.
I really like the forward line. f1-f4 I can see 100 averages easily.
Yep spot on.rioli or rayner in their positions might he higher ranked but rowell outscores them both surely
Not starting them is a big risk of course. The first team I have seen without Macrae and Seagull.
I think you need them.
I reckon having 2 big pods against you is a massive risk. Not starting them is a big risk of course.
More than likely I end up starting the gull as I will probably get cold feet on Heeney/Dawson combo, but if I dont start him I dont think it will burn me. The swans had a more attacking style last year and as a result his average dipped from previous years.
Macrae you do need but not at 700k, in the GF he split CBAs with Treloar and if this becomes a thing in 2022 the 700k starting price is way too much. Steele at 685k is prob overs but there is no risk to his role at all whereas there are very slight question marks on Macraes as bulldogs arguably can form 2 distinct A Grade starting midfields from their group of mids. Only takes a 4-5 week run of 110-115s for his price to come down a bit as well.
Mills eventually got mid minutes after years of teasing, Heeney will one day as well just hope its this year.I reckon having 2 big pods against you is a massive risk.
Clearly you have thought it out though and you reasoning seems sound.
Heeney started last year on fire. I thought i was some sort of sc guru having him until the injury.
He has a 100 average season in him I think. Maybe its this year IDK.
If he gets mid minutes I will be grabbing him i reckon.
Doubtful though due to horse.
Plus I gotta fit in Hurn.It is hard to get the balance right.
For example in defence.(Rioli the only viable midpricer I can see)

It is easy to pick the top 6 scorers from last year and let the rest of your team suffer.
Like bringing in Crisp for Sicily looks great in isolation.
I try to base my selections on who has more upside at there current price.
On the other hand its also dangerous to set and forget your defence and not take the top tier guns. (what would be the point?)
Its a balance.
Hai_Newman went with 6 keeper defenders last year, and got it spot on.
I get your point, but the dog's centre bounce got smashed when it mattered in the GF. Really can't see them favouring Treloar when Bont/Macrae/another was their formula all year and worked well.Macrae you do need but not at 700k, in the GF he split CBAs with Treloar and if this becomes a thing in 2022 the 700k starting price is way too much. Is this likely to be the structure you're going to run with. Will be very interesting to watch how it goes. With the 2 down 1 up to get a premo mid, you're gonna need 18 rooks almost maxing out to get the 6 mid keepers you're looking for.
Love it - mainly because it's different and with a fair bit of thoughts put into it
