Firstly welcome to the board ......pretty solid team
Just real concern over Ladhams as your R2 .....he'll play 2nd fiddle to Tom Hickey ....that's going to put you a long way behind other teams each week .....and you're not going more than a 4 premo midfield, making your DEF where you're hoping to catchup the lost points
Also put Hayes or Comben into R3 .....not a potentially "dead" R3 in John Williams, although I don't know a lot about him
Still think Grundy will be the big improver this year
When pulling your team together, it's important to select 2-3 Capt options you can rely on each week ......anyway good luck, hope you stick around

Maybe change Ladhams to Witts if you want a mid price R2. It’s a very expensive defensive line as well. Maybe look for a bit more value and see where the extra funds can improve.

Greetings new friend, just my two cents but I would look to upgrade Ladhams to one of the top line rucks. You could downgrade Stewart (coming off serious injury) to Whitfield/Sicily and/or Taranto (will play forward and is a butcher who you will hate) to De Goey/Butters/etc to fund it. I would also try to get either (or both) Macrae and Steele as they are likely to be top 5 mid's this year and will be hard to trade in later.
Good team though, stick around and join in the convo's

Yeah Stewart is in training, but Liz Frank injuries are usually quite long term, so I'm saving him for later in the year, love STS (Sexy Tom Stewart) though.
Bowes will miss the start of the season with injury (got flattened by Rowell in training, busted his shoulder). Serong as good a break out contender as any I guess, but I tend to avoid those sort of picks (generally I get them wrong)

I just changed Stewart to Bowes lol Daniel might be the man for that spot now.
Mcgovern at our club has been playing down back and killing it in the match sims, could be a good cash cow.

I'm no expert on the Suns, but there are plenty of break out chances there. Rowell and Anderson the most SC relevant. Davies as a high priced rookie could be good too when he gets a chance.

Was only half arsed match practice but Stewart looked in cruise control in the footage Geelong released recently, genuinely doing as he pleased against some younger team mates. Will end up in a lot of teams pretty quickly I’d suggest.

Yeh I’m really warming to Crouch too.
2x seasons he’s averaged 110. He’s a slow extractor so recent injury shouldn’t be a deterrent.
Worst case he breaks even and goes 100 and is a solid M8, best case he gets back to his pre-injury.
Merrett is another I can’t understand the the lower ownership %. He’s gone 115 and 114 the last few years, doesn’t get injured, is currently in his prime.

Feel disgusting having Cripps in there but my paper bag bias is holding strong for the time being. If he looks like a spud again in the pre season games JHF and Cripps out to Neale and a 123k rookie.

Barring the R2 that is a decent team structure-wise. A few tweaks during the praccy matches and I honestly believe you can reach my dizzying heights of SC superstardom - a solid top 20k finish.
