17-20 Tigers were the best teams of the 2010's, can the media at least admit that? They would have beaten every GF team for a whole decade including the 2011 Cats. Write up that article Herald Sun.
The media won't ever admit that. The Hawks are just so inoffensive to them - the whole "Clarko genius" bollocks that they trotted out whenever Hawthorn won a tough game, the embracing of "unsociable football" (imagine if we'd played that way, the media would string us up by the balls!?) etc. They were and always will be media darlings because they're just a minnow who stepped out of the shadows. Where's the "Dimma genius" tag for creating a juggernaut from a shambles?

Hawthorn are not a threat. We are a threat - to all their membership records, to their misguided preconceptions of what makes a great club culture, to our unwillingness to fade away after (during?) a dynasty etc.

And despite 35 years of vastly disproportionate success, they're now not even in the top 5 biggest clubs in terms of revenue, crowd, and memberships. Imagine if the Tigers had won 9 premierships during that period - we'd be like Bayern Munich or Paris Saint-Germaine in terms of owning our league.

What Hawks fans fail to realise during their 3 peat from 2012-2015 their elite keepings off kicking game could not be cracked open regularly by any team in the AFL except for 1 team that was starting to develop their now famous high pressure chaos game .Hmmmm wonder who that could be. Our 2017-2020 team was next level otherworldy pressure. We would have annihilated their dynasty team IMHO.
As proven above we did that while developing our Premiership team which was middle of the ladder during that time. They were "topping up" during our dynasty & still couldn't get near us.

Give them a few years until Tassie withdraw their funds. All and sundry will see that their membership numbers have been inflated over the years and they slip back into the also ran brigade.

Irrelevant club that made hay while the big boys were getting their house in order. We're back, the Pies are coming on ok; if Essendon and Carlton can get their act into gear the Hawks will be looking for another merger partner.

A club that suffers from an inferiority complex. The truth hurts.
This is definitely the case with their fans, tho try & find a Hawks fan at their own games these days....

100% Stats don't lie.

The only game that counts is the grand final. Kudos to the Hawks. A lot of flags since 61. We had a 37 year drought. Insane to win 2017. Not favourite. To have the worst list grand final team ever. To get 2 more has been equally insane. To be challenging for a 4th in 23 is ridiculous good list management. I know ticketing is a balls up but keep the support up.

sounds like TT is flying.(literally)

Bloody classic...why, why, why he retired?! Ah well we have had some absolute champions playing for us!

Yeah, Rance is the one player I freaking miss watching the most. The way he left the game and the rumours that circulated were a bloody disgrace.

He didn't get that final send-off he deserved.
