Cripps popular.
Not much room/spare cash for Ollie/Brayshaw/Bont/Wines/etc...

Macca and Neale yes but Touk only in 25% of teams.

Touk BF ownership about 97.5% however.

It’s a hard decision between Macrae, Miller, Steele and Oli as realistically you can only have max 2?. Get one wrong you fall way back.

Neale was a lock as the uber 120 or 120+ SP so we all got a freebie there.

Like for arguments sake going into the season with Miller and Oliver over Macrae and Steele is kind of a hard sell imo. Macrae has been the go to top scorer for years now and Miller has had one boom season.

But whoever has both Oli/Miller would be doing very well I bet. Even better would be Petracca/Brayshaw... now that’s an even harder thing to just lock in and pick.

He’s also had a consistent history of posting a low sub 100 score maybe that’s plays into the back of people’s minds as yes he’s a sc superstar pig but he’s probably easier to get in than say Macrae. Though the best scoring mids have very narrow ranges of min/max price outside of their purple patches/low month. So essentially the game plan get Oli at sub 600k and there’s a chance that another best mid that you don’t have doesn’t go under 600 all year.

I did have Oliver for awhile before the season started but once again starting 2 650k+ players isn’t without a lot of risk. But your right he’s a stud and you’ll have to wait it out to get him.

Check the scoring so far. Mids are dominating the scoring from 200k onwards. It probably wasn’t the best practice to actually even start 2 650k+ mids in the first place with the Neale/Cripps/Rowell combo. It’s so up in the air who will actually be a top 10 mid at the end of the year. Spoilt for options whereas all the other positions forwards, rucks, backs save for a couple of premiums/value picks have underperformed across the board.

32% is still a high enough % ownership imo.

If you can only have a max 3 super high 600k premo's but more realistically 2, who are you gonna pick? The guys you project to be the top 2 scorers in SC likely. Not so much a safe option. I actually don't think he was any safer than Steele either, but it's worked out well so far. Miller definitely had the highest upside, so leaving him out was a much bigger risk.

Yeah for me I started Touk Macrae and Clarry so I’m happy, no Cripps but I also don’t foresee Cripps averaging 140+ all year. I’m more than happy to miss that boat.

I’m just glad I don’t have to try and find the 650k+ you’ll need to try get them in somehow.

The risk on Cripps seems to have paid off.

Deboer seem to play more as a defensive half forward these days with Ash taking on tagging duties.

Even so will be interesting to see if GWS tag this year at all. They have so many great mids to rotate through that it is a big call to dedicate a starting onball spot to a tagger. They might just back their guys in.

That’s exactly what I’ve been trying to say. His days as a MID tagger are done.

A juicy half back interceptor / link up half backman type though? MDB will be all over you.

It’s bad for supercoach but their team plays better with an edge and without toby greene they lack any Grunt right now

Like you say though Tom green is now blossoming and having Taranto, cogs, jelly, Ward, Hopper (missing) and cal Ward they have plenty of talent inside

Perfect thing about Clarry now is that Trac is having bigger influence so if you can somewhat curb him it will be a positive for your team. Means Piggy can go about and do whatever he wants.
