Depressing to see those leads written down like that.

Also on the show they said a stat I hadn’t heard before, we led for 71% of game time - number 1 in the league.

I don’t care what anyone says about fitness or anything else. It’s a fact that when we got those leads we are coached to play a different game style with more numbers pushed into the back half.

Somebody needs to tell our coaches that attack is the best form of defence. Which should be pretty obvious when you look at the half time scores across the season.

But at this stage it just seems to be a case of Jackson’s camp forcing Freo to put the highest possible salary on the table rather than think the ball is entirely in their court. As things progress he’ll most likely nominate a club and try and force us to deal with them. Hopefully we play hardball if Freo are not offering adequate compensation

Stand corrected. As I’ve said before, I’m not ITK like that guy obviously is.

Regardless of what Jackson becomes, in terms of what he delivered this year we stand a very good chance of improving on our 2022 team by replacing him.

All he gave us this year was a decent second ruck and ineffectual tall forward.

I’m not the biggest fan of Grundy in but if he does come and stays fit we’re ahead straight away on Jackson’s 2022 contribution.

I have no idea, honestly. A couple of mid-late firsts? What do you have available?

Once we work this out, I guess we co-pen a letter to the two clubs to let them know the deal has been done.
