Dogs fans got over Dunkley straight away

Let's back Lobb in, instead of bashing him

He is entitled to his break
Thought he was bog average before trying to turn his coat. He can gagf if he thinks he can coast through, slot in and go through the motions.

good to see him, but damn looks like he’s lost a fair bit of weight, with the haircut he looks eerily similar to 2010/11 fyfe

Looks really skinny. It would be interesting to see how much weight he's lost.

You can see he's still got the frame so I'd expect he would bounce back quite quickly

Rory Lobb needs to improve but the guy isn’t due back at training yet. In an interview with JL a few weeks back he said that Lobb had been back at the club training. Now he is on holidays in Broome.

Where is Tabs, Colyer and Mundy. They can all get delisted and we’ll pick up committed players in the SSP.

All well and good but still have to look out over the barren waste-land on the other side of the oval
Until that area is developed , surely the club can get permission to at least put some grass on that slope
I get the romance of SF oval.
The facts are mid week it's broken concrete terraces and a parking lot. Cars literally park up against the oval fence.

I have no issue with Lobb not training yet.
But he’s got a lot of work to do to win back fan favour IMO.
Comparisons with Dunkley are misleading. Dunkley was a fan favourite at the dogs for his performances and commitment on the field. He was also underpaid and when Essendon spotted this and offered him his true market value why wouldn’t he jump at it? It was something like $200k per annum extra.
In contrast, Lobb has been overpaid relative to his output the last 3 years and no other club would give him the kind of coin we have the last couple of years. But he still wanted out.
I reckon we’ll see the same old Lobb in 2022. One good game followed by 3 or 4 underwhelming efforts.
Will be pleasantly surprised if it’s anything more than that.

I see a bit of Dunkley in Erasmus. Combative types.

Re: Freo Media Team,

If you stalk these threads (which I'm 95% sure you do), can we get some more Heath Chapman news? What position he intends to play next season, how his shoulder is going and how tall he is now.

Love,
Contra xoxo
What music does Heath listen to before a game?
What is Heath's coffee order?
What is Heath's idea of the perfect first date?

Ryan Daniel's on episode 113 of the plus six podcast is required listening. First 13 minutes is regarding the Olympics. Talks about Fremantle from 13.45 minute mark to. Chapman specifically from 32:50. West Coast stuff follows from 33.30. That too is worth a listen if you are a Dockers fan.

Going by that podcast Chapman and O'Driscoll are sharing the Brownlow this year.
