Lobb and his massive contract for pick 3, lol it’s Weller all over again and you can’t blame the Freo supporters for trying after that deal

Hang on Lobb, Future 2nd and a midfielder in Tucker or Acres..

We pay some of Lobbs Salary to make it more enticing.

You get a Tall Fwd who is capable of kicking 3 or 4 in a game, a decent pick and midfielder who would be best 22. Or you can roll the dice on a draftee who might request a trade.

Darcy Tucker is a midfielder?
Why does he average 16 possessions a game then?
His stats seem to indicate he hasn't really improved from his first few seasons.

Just so your aware the Suns have 38 of the main list contracted so players aren’t really a necessity for us. Salary cap assistance is what the Suns want and need.

Tucker and Acres… We have Miller, Fiorini, Greenwood, Ellis, Rowell, Anderson who would all be in the mids who won’t lose there spots. Tucker and Acres don’t add value. Future 2nd and Lobb for 19 and 22 is as good as it gets from me and that’s being generous

What happened here ? I think these 2 players re yet to decide what they are doing
unless GC have cooled

Also doesnt Lobb want to come to melbourne due to his partner
CCJ likely to re-sign with the tigers last i read, but it is real quiet in the afl trade world right now besides cerra & neale

Gee they put a bit of Mayo on that report , though he was very disappointing at AFL and had two decent VFL games only, seems when there is interest from other clubs the Suns rush to lock players without looking at their formline. Have been told one recent raw rookie got a 2 deal because another club was interested in him.

Though Rosa would have made very good trade bait
He was always going to be raw coming from Darwin as a small forward.
Has talent and showed glimpses. Has shown sides to his games I wouldn’t have predicted.

has had 2 years with very limited chances for competitive games. Obviously very inconsistent - but suspect some of that ha been his role not just his execution.

Just needs a chance to play in a role that suits his skills.

I’m concerned with 3 list spots required for draft night we really do have to delist or trade some players. We have 6 picks and no spots… plus we need a key forward. So besides Brodie we realistically have 3 players who need to go from our main list.

Makes me wonder if won’t be getting pick 19 now from the AFL.

If he could kick 3-4 a game he would be an all time great and we all know he’s not even close.

Don't think we will need Jason Horne-Francis as we have Noah Anderson who will be way better.

I love Noah, but that is a massive call! JHF is a huge talent and ready made. Two different sorts of player but if gun to head and had to choose, I would take JHF.

JHF is ranked at 2 in this draft, just like Noah was ranked at 2 in his draft.

Scouts said that guys like Will Brodie, Sam Petrevski-seton, Luke Davies-Uniacke, Paddy Dow, Cam Rayner, Dylan Stephens etc. were 'huge talents and ready made' and none have panned out as expected - they have time on their side but 'ready made' was definitely off the mark.

Give me the guy we have, that was rated by coaches as the =best young player in the competition over a soon-to-be-draft-pick that hasn't played yet any day.

I’m pretty sure Noah averaged 28 disposals and 2 goals in NAB league and is already projecting towards elite in the AFL. Would take Noah over JHF any day of the week.

Fair enough, as you say both very different players I think Noah being 190cm and being very balanced already. He just needs to develop his core strength and upper body and he’ll break thru, and of course Dew let’s him drift forward more.

I still like JHF, he looked good in the Aa v Geelong game I watched. Haven’t really watched much else since we were no chance of getting him. That’s on me

Swapping out a high draft pick in Will Brodie for another "potential""big bodied" high draft pick midfielder who no doubt will demand the same exorbitant salary to stay with us before he shows anything (with the potential to leave when he actually does)
I'm not sure we're solving anything here
You're just gambling
I'm all for bringing in Parker, but enough with the expensive unproven 18yo's

Didnt Aish also play senior SANFL and play well in his draft year?

Now he's at his third club playing back flank and on the fringe.
Slightly built outside mid vs JHF an inside mid who is defensively sound and much more athletic.
JHF would be an amazing get, but North won't past up on him, he is the clear number 1 player (not already tied to a club)
