Reports coming out of WA Freo are into Will Bodie.
We have such a great trading history with Freo, can’t wait to hear the deal

Brodie and we pay $200k of his salary and then we grab Lobb for $700k

so what do we end up with, an older more expensive 2MP and paying someone to play for another club. Before you call me sinical you know it’s possible from the Suns

Yes, but if Richmond can only afford to pay him 250k, we could pay him 300k

If they can afford to pay him 350k, then we may need to offer him 400k

More they spend on CCJ, less they'll have to spend on Chol. They can still match any offer made on him.

No Chol is a unrestricted free agent and richmond cant match a bid , if he accepts then he is gone but its looking like Essendon & North are also looking at him with bombers most keen. Richmond has tabled a 2 year deal to both Chol & Cj and is looking to keep both apparently

Now that Port are out. I guess we will find out this week if the rumour about Charlie returning back to the Suns has substance.

If the rumours about sending Brodie to Fremantle are true and his contract is worth approximately 400-500k then you'd have to think we could definitely afford to bring in Dixon. Having said that, we seem to be in deep discussions with CCJ and I doubt we'd be doing that if we thought we were about to land Dicko.

But who knows? Maybe Charlie woke up this morning and decided he's ready to go home to Queensland. We'd probably get a few good years out of him and then the King-CCJ combination would naturally take over as they enter their physical primes.

We know we're about to get $150k cap room from no longer paying a portion of 2MP's contract and Brodie is on an estimated $500k contract. So we're probably about to clear $650k in our cap and that gives us some serious options to land a big name player. This is where Rory Lobb probably comes into play.

Would hate to be bgging other clubs players on the suns board but Lobb & Dixon
they just seem like players that would come to boost their super rather than buy into the suns and with their age's not sure its a great idea both looking like 2 year projects rather than longer term and very underwhelming with their leadership qualities

2021: Ben King, Sam Day, Josh Corbett, Joel Jeffery

2022: Ben King, Charlie Dixon, Callum Coleman-Jones, Josh Corbett, Joel Jeffery

Make it happen

Now I’m liking you.

yeah your not such a bad bloke either Bod's even though you like to play on the Alpha male stuff a bit.
i'll buy you a scotch at the next Suns/Tigers game in 2022

Iim now in love with you.
You and The Gun make it very challenging for me at times to maintain my Tigers Hate.

Yeah Twitter loves him… haha I’m excited by this prospect. Cheap Charlie on the coast
You hope the club is talking to him and his manager right now. Opportunities likes this don't pop that often and he would be the perfect person to compliment Ben King in the forward line, albeit a bit older than we'd probably like. We'd still get a few solid years out of him while we work on bringing in another young forward. Buys us time and makes us more competitive. Plus a homecoming story is always nice PR.

Charlie has always been a week to week proposition even as a junior
I like him because at his best he attacks contests with a big man fierceness we don't really ever get
Day offers nothing special from a goal kicking perspective so Dicko is an upgrade in both that regard and contested marking and physicality
In the past 5 years he averages about 2 goals a game since and 4 marks vs Day 0.75  and 3.5
I'm not sure Day is any less injury prone either

Dixon draws two defenders to him because of his forward presence.

Would give King so much more opportunity to run and jump at the ball rather than wrestle with big KPD's that are way too big for him.

He may be somewhat injury prone but he's played over 18 games in all but one of the last 6 seasons.

Hope the rumours are true.
