A few on the power trade pages suggesting dan Houston is gettable. Would be one worth looking into, becoming a very good player.
Also note that a huge percentage of the retirement/delistings are KPP, I know casboult has been mentioned already but might be worth a chat to a few of these guys just for depth.

Probably next monday a few will be delisted who have no chance on our list. 4 gone already, probably another 6 to go
Sorry to interrupt but having played against most of these guys over past couple of years these are the ones I believe should be delisted ,
Towey, Murtagh , Conroy - all in early 20s and have to much required improvement to get to even VFL level ,

Nicholls and Ace have skills but don't have the body type to play at the top level

Finally the last place would come between Rosa and McLennan , have a feeling Rosa will be a very good state league player but has too many flaws in his game which were exposed in his 3 AFL games this year. I would stick with McLennan for another season

I think you could add Brodie, McPherson, Graham potentially to being delisted and placed on the rookie list. We currently have 11 rookies and spots for 10 for one last season. 4 have retired meaning we 3 spots. We are good at using our rookie list to recycle players

One person suggested Houston might be gettable. The rest of the posts you’re reading are people talking about how they would hate to lose him.

He’s been a very good player for a while

Yeah wouldn't think there would be too much too it but definitely would be keen if there was. I'd be surprised if we weren't looking into clurey from you guys and dixon if there is any truth to the rumours, but again who knows what is real at this time of year. Probably same goes in regards to Luko and rankine I guess.

Appreciate your input.

From what I've seen Nicholls is actually quite athletic. Seems like a similar body type to Wil Powell.
Lacks composure though. Makes a lot of mistakes for a half backer.
Not sure if he has the capacity to play anywhere else either.

I also reckon Murtagh has shown lots of positives but doesn't get involved enough. I'd actually keep him on.

Towey, Conroy, Nicholls, Ace definite delists from me.

Rusca96 what are your thoughts about Alex Davies?
Saw some good things from him but still looked a fair way off at times in the VFL.

Reckon Davies will be a good solid player like Flanders wont be a star, Fyfe is ok, played against his brother a bit and he was a decent player . Apparently Nicholls might be under contract so it will be interesting who gets chopped instead. Murtagh is a good athlete but at least two years away and whether you guys can hold on that long or try and get a state league player that doesn't need that development

Hm.. interesting to see how it all plays out.
Could be a few one way trades that might help us shed numbers - ie Brodie for a future 3rd rounder (probably as good as we could expect)

I reckon Murtagh has more than only athleticism.
Can clunk a mark and I actually think he is quite a nice straight kick. I think he shows some good instincts around the ball as well seen a bit of nice work in the ruck on occasion.

Playing games is what is needed and he's been crueller by COVID and the limited competitive matches to some degree.

He is more than just an Israel Folau in my eyes.

Wouldn't be devastated if he gets cut but he's one that I'd try and stick with - depending on the numbers.

Strong rumours about us and Luke Dunstan whose spot does he take? Or is this another Rory Atkins

Real random but he’s a perfect fit

Leader, knows how to win, tackling machine, can kick goals forward, 1% chance of happening but he is still unsigned

First time I’ve seen anything linking Parker to us, would be a very solid move. eppo67 have you got any intel on this at all?

I know his position just whose spot does he take? Or does he sit in VFL like Rory Atkins was what I was implying

Anderson, Rowell, Miller, Greenwood all inside mids. Be hard to crack that unless Anderson goes outside
I’d say Brodie or Fiorini
