It would be weird for a guy listed to play for PMs XI, to all of a sudden rock up to be ready for Game 1.
Michael Neser pulls out of PM's XI with soreness
Two-time Test paceman Michael Neser has withdrawn from the Prime Minister's XI match with soreness.au.sports.yahoo.com
One gets the sense if they removed Neser out for that game as a pre-cautionary measure and to manage his load, he will be unlikely to play all 3 BBL games in Round 1 for Brisbane.
I too think Neser is a stay away play for me. Job security is the big issue for Neser -not only for this round but throughout the whole of BBL13. If somehow he miraculously starts Game 1, you wouldnt be banking on him starting Game 2 and/or Game 3 in this same round. Just has a total air of 'uncertainty'.
Having a stab at the Hobart Hurricanes team in Round 1 (single for them) because I have had a stab at 6 other BBL sides in their first games.
I kind of think their side sort of picks themself in bowling and based on players that were on recent tour of India.

I see the specialist bowlers bowling the majority of the overs there. Im starting to warm to the idea as Chris Jordan from out of nowhere to be in team potentially in the next round for Hobart. He is the one likely to be batting more up the order of those bowlers.
I dont think Hatzoglou plays Round 1 since he is in the UAE in the T10s. Also Hatzoglous team in the UAE T10 league is around finals contention, so it prob means he misses Round 1 , given Hobart play on December 11th.
I reckon Hatzoglou replaces Mitch Owen though once Round 2 Starts.
From what I have heard Chaudhary is more of a batsman - all rounder, than bowling- all rounder. They are better playing that Chauhdry bloke instead of Jordan and use Stanlake or another fast bowler and play one of Dooley and Hatzoglou.

Connolly hot 90 odd and took 2 wickets today.
Not touching Neser. He was removed from the tour game to be managed. He ain't playing 3 games. CA won't let him.
Prefer to run with Tye if i am spending that money
I'm committed to starting these 4
Jhye Rich
Neser
Curran
Hardie
Renegades my piece of the puzzle I'm just not sold on atm
Renegades bowlers priced hard.
Zampa may not be about wickets
Mujeeb not a big scorer
Richardson under injury cloud/injury prone
Siddle will be managed
Rogers expensive
The only one for sure to go with is Sutherland.
McGurk, Maddinson and maybe Harvey are the ones to look at cheap. Clarke if you can fit him in.
Round 1 will give best indicator of that mob.
They are certainly interesting
I'm not sold on Sutherland either, think he'll bat 5-7 and they have a line up where overs are not guaranteed.
They're a hard team to get a read on
In Round 1 , its a Joe Clarke v Sam Harper for me.
Im warming to Sam Harper given how good he has been going in the bat in other forms domestically this season.
I am tempted to play Neser now, if he gets named 30 minutes before game-time.
For you guys who dont have him in your team currently, if he gets named, does that change your game plan for Round 1?
Bryant almost zero chance of playing all 3 imhoThe only heat players I am convinced are playing all 3 are Billings, Munro, Walter, Bryant, Bartlett and Kuhnemann. I don't have Billings and I don't have Munro. Going a two-game allrounder instead. Have the other three on the field and Bryant on the bench.
Sadly no head me suspectsWhats the go with Ahmed for Renegades and does Head sneak a hit in. Thanks in advance.
