I think it goes
1wc reid
2gc Walter
3nth mckercher
4nth duursma
5 haw Curtin /Watson
6dogs curtin /Watson
Agree. Interesting if North get 1 and WC 2, which I think is pretty likely.

1 North - Reid
2 WC - Cutin
3 GC (match) - Walter
4 North - Duursma (already have Reid)
5 Hawks - McKercher/Watson
6 Dogs - McKercher/Watson

Assuming Freo get pies pick 19 for Shultz this is my current first round.
Considering there is only going to be about 55 pick it's a huge first round.

1. Eagles - Harley Reid
2. Suns - Jed Walter (Match)
3. Roos - Colby McKercher
4. Roos - Zane Duursma
5. Hawks - Nick Watson
6. Dogs - Ryley Sanders
7. Melb - Daniel Curtin
8. Suns - Ethan Read (Match)
9. GWS - Darcy Wilson
10. Cats - Nate Caddy
11. Ess - Connor O'Sullivan
12. Crows - Ollie Murphy
13. Melb - Caleb Windsor
14. Dogs - Jordan Croft (Match)
15. Hawks - Will McCabe (Match)
16. Suns - Jake Rogers (Match)
17. Swans - Charlie Edwards
18. St.k - Archer Reid
19. Crows - James Leake
20. Roos - Riley Hardeman
21. GWS - Harry De Mattia
22. Roos - Lance Collard
23. Roos - Arie Shoenmaker
24. Freo - Zane Zakostelsky
25. Swans - Caiden Cleary (Match)
26. Crows - Will Patton
27. Blues - Koltyn Tholstrup
Man I would be extremely upset with Sanders for a trade up, surely take Curtin if that’s the way it falls. Even if he doesn’t move into midfield he’s still a massive need

I think you’re right that’s best case scenario for us, let’s hope Norf get pick 1 although it looks to be sort of leaning towards WCE keeping it now

No one should be disappointed in anyone we get there are enough people rating Sanders Curtin Watson mckercher duursma that whichever we get we are happy as they are the best out there it's up to us to make them better than the rest

I don't rate Curtin particularly highly and I realize I'm in the minority.
I rate O'Sullivan higher as a defender.

The club may not rate him that highly either. Judging from Twoomey's comments, he reckons Curtin is the one most likely to slide out of that group if North or West Coast don't take him. It suggests to me there's differing opinions amongst recruiters on Curtin.

Not a massive fan either. Was early days but watching footage again I just don’t see any real strong parts of his game.

He’s a big solid, tall 18yr old that has decent skills. But, isn’t a contested beast defender, isn’t overly strong interceptor. I think his size is seducing people. A huge HBF with ok skills and decision making.

He’s played well in the midfield in the odd game but pretty sure there’s still uncertainty around him making it there.

Too many maybes for my liking.

If we end up using the pick we sold the farm for on Curtin, I’d be pretty unhappy.

Likely McKercher, Sanders or Watson at our pick. I’d be happy with any of those three.

He gives me Marchbank vibes which scares me.

I'm actually walming to Curtin can play as a half back flank back pocket while he develops as a midfielder creates time and space and does everything very well, will end up being a midfielder for sure not a defender

I’d be pleased with mostly anyone except for someone I’d have thought we could have got at our previous pick lol

My order of preference is Watson, Duursma & Sanders
Expect North to take McKercher, they should probably take Watson to
Which would be annoying at the time but all the better when Sanders is tearing it up and they’re cursing under their breath how they should have had him
