Brisbane will dispose of them just like Sydney did when we were on a roll in 06. Carlton are playing better than they are atm..that Gabba is daunting.
I think winning a final by a couple of points that you didn't really deserve to win in front of over 96,000 people is fair enough reason to celebrate TBH.
All the more reason why Brisbane will steamroll them.
Yep, I hate them but I agree wholeheartedly. They were cooked 3 months ago and now are just a win off of a grand final appearance.

Carlton didn't win this, Melbourne lost it. Which makes it that much worse. Same as last week. I don't rate Sydney (lucky to make finals) or Melbourne (forward line is awful) but Brisbane at the Gabba are actually a hard opponent.

Langdon went from the best wingman in the comp, to an at best average player this season.
Make no mistake, this is the beginning of the end of Goodwin. They'll miss top 4 next season, no doubt about it

My favourite part was every time he would tap it directly to Cripps and let him win the clearance.
Melbourne were so arrogant refusing to play Grundy imo.

Their forward line legitimately looks in a worse place than ours right now.
It was so weird, he was constantly tapping it straight to a Carlton player while looking right at them. He had little positive impact on the game, wasnt the only one though.
Short sighted obviously, but surely if you're a Melbourne fan you'd prefer Jackson over pick 5 this year? He absolutely would've been the difference for them in both games, and could very well have taken them to another flag.

Ed Langdon was putrid tonight. At least twice he kicked it out on the full, and when he was defending inside 50 he would always avoid the marking contest. Several times he could have spoiled an incoming kick, but he would leave an outnumbered team-mate to get smashed and concede the mark. It was actually staggering IMO. I reckon Melbourne fans would be calling him out

I'm genuinely pissed off at Melbourne...how could you let this happen! How! Should've beaten Collingwood and then lose to freaking Carlton...oh and you just had to let Acres and Motlop kick 4 between them as well...f u Demons.
While we’re on the topic of Motlop, there were about 4 times during the game where he should’ve given away 50m that weren’t called.
