Cameron was alright. Not great by any stretch but not in the same ballpark as Damien Drum, let's be honest.

Their last couple of underperforming years has masked the level of talent pumped into squad by AFL concessions. You just have to look at the starting midfield to figure this isn't as much of a shock as it would appear.

Instead of the Carlton Collingwood fap festival they have planned it may well be a Brisbane GWS GF!

I think GWS can beat Collingwood. They’re the most superbly skilled side in it & they have the right style to beat the Pies at their own game.

The way they handle the ball so cleanly in the tightest of clinches. Guys like Whitfield, Kelly, Ward, Green, Greene, Coniglio, Taylor, Ash, Callaghan etc just don’t fumble & they always have a player running past or in the right place outside.

Interesting times.

Didn't win at Optus though.

Lost to West Coast of all teams.

Remarkably West Coast have won 5 games in 2 years.

2 of them have made a prelim final in those seasons.

Collingwood last year and GWS this year.

Our original song was. The old Freo heave Ho bit based on the song of the Volga Boatmen is in a minor key. I loved that intro then then the way it transitioned to the relative major for the chorus which is the only part they still sing after the game.

I reckon they ruined it. The original was brilliant & different.

I love this nickname. Wish you posted more so that it can stick.

He needs to say Feeder Club more too. I believe there are tribes living in the Amazon Rain Forest who haven’t yet heard his opinion.
It’s that we’re a feeder club in case anyone missed it.

He’s the only one who can see clearly what’s wrong. The rest of us are accepting mediocrity & can’t see that if we too write angry things over & over on the internet the club will change their policies.

I never considered that aspect. I just love the tune as it sounds like really sad, working class folk music kind of as close as European music gets to the blues. The real original blues. Music of sorrow, sweat, hardship. The human condition.
