Here is the list of Premierships in the AFL era where one team had a home ground advantage because they are a tenant of the MCG and their opponent wasn’t:

2023: Pies over Lions by 4 points
2019: Richmond over GWS by 89
2017: Richmond over Crows by 48
2015: Hawks over Eagles by 46
2014: Hawks over Sydney by 63
2013: Hawks over Freo by 15
2010: Pies and Saints draw
2008: Hawks over Geelong by 26
1999: North over Carlton by 35
1996: North over Sydney by 43
1991 : Hawks over Eagles by 53 (Waverley)

So without home ground advantage the Pies almost certainly lose 2010 and lose today. Then the only other one based on final margin was perhaps Hawks over Freo 2013. Most other GF’s it would be hard to argue the home ground advantage made the difference.
