Unpopular opinion, but I'm glad the Pies won it. The Big V comes first in this instance and the Vic bias tears are so delicious. I'm really happy for Daicos and Markov getting a flag and Pendles + Sidebottom deserved a second flag.

I hope Richmond can improve quickly. The 3 flags were great but Collingwood have managed to stay relevant in almost every decade. Constantly challenging. We have had one period and gone back to s**t quickly.

Staying relevant without winning flags. Yes they won today but last 60 years they have only won 2 and lost 12 whereas we have won 8 flags, the second most successful side in the last 56 years, only Hawks have won more.

IMO despite the close result , really quite an uninspiring match.
No ball movement to speak of. The scoring coming more than often from centre clearances and both teams chipping the ball around.
