Greene as captain is sickening. He's a pathetic manlet who eye gouges, scratches, kicks, and is the only bloke in the league who has been done for going an umpire. Not to mention his off field history.

It's bad enough gws reckon he's leadership material, but for the league to pick him as the leader for the best of the best.. disgusting

Where's Martin? I keep scanning the team, and I can't find his name. I thought of searching for the big (C), but that was someone else it seems.

Larkey is not as good a player as Martin . Martin had the highest possesion count for a forward in 18 years and led 2 other categories.
Larkey kicking bags against West Coast is just junktime stats.
Don’t understand the Martin uproar. He had a poor first half to the season. He’s a 80/20 forward, not exclusive forward.
Larkey kicked 2 goals v West Coast at Optus, with 6 in round 1. Hardly bags. He’s pretty consistent.

His year was clearly better than last year. He was also top 10 coaches award. Was always making the side

Statistically, not really.

Averages 3 extra disposals, but disposal efficiency is down 5%. Only averages an extra effective disposal this season compared to last season.
Avergaing the same amount of contested ball, intercept possessions and groundball gets (same number of F50 groundball gets as well).
Averages an extra 0.5 of a clearance, and an extra shot at goal, but still the same amount of goals and behinds. An extra 2 score involvements though.
Averages more tackles, but marginally less tackles in the fwd 50, and an extra 200 metres gained per game.

Is an extra 3 disposals a game, 2 extra score involvements and 200 more metres gained "clearly better"? Or is it just because Port are playing good football as a team which then makes you think Rozee is clearly better this season compared to last season?

Toby Green captain is wrong, he'd a dirty player that kicks people.
Bontompelli is the best leader in the AFL.

Any credibility you were trying to cling onto with the other bullshit you’ve been dribbling, has been lost here.

You take Greene’s leadership out of his team and see how they perform. Not his play, his leadership.

They are pound for pound the toughest team in the comp.

He’s the best captain in the comp. That you can’t work that out is hilarious.

Why did Bont win best captain then?

Does "forward time" mean inside 50, or forward of centre? Because that completely changes what the stats mean.

It reads like something prepared by a Richmond supporter. Dusty simply didnt have that good a year as a forward or as a midfielder because he split his time too evenly. Breust was a better forward and he didnt deserve to be AA. And Petracca was a way better mid/forward.

He had 21 goals, 13 goal assists and 30 coaches votes until the two dead rubbers when Richmond were a mathematical impossibility for finals. 14 goals and 7 assists at the conclusion of round 17. He took way too long to get going and the strong finish was little more than stat padding.

Larkey didn't just start firing when NM's season was officially over around 14 games in. He had nearly 40 goals by then.
