CorrectAs for J Daicos I don't see what other people see - I only hear hype. Is he in the best 22 players this year as a midfielder - No. If there was a AA 2nd team he'd be in it.
Close to the money
When have the All-Australian selectors ever picked wingmen to play on the wing? Last year Touk Miller and Callum Mills were a wingmen. What makes you think this year will be different?Correct
If the AA selectors pick wingers on the wing, he's on a wing.
Gulden v Martin for the other one.
in a year where there are some strong fresh faces for the middle, and some darlings on the cusp, they may go weak and pop some on the wing instead
But Josh is the best wingman in the game and a tidy HF presence. Gun player who is less hype and more living in the shadow of younger brother
I think as a pure full back, you are correct. It’s one position whereby this stat should have the heaviest weighting.I know no weeks have passed since I've put Weitering's name up as one for the watchlist, but new data has emerged that showcases that we need to as a BigFooty collective move forward from that stage, and instead have him locked in at full back. 10% loss rate, how can you go past that? Unless you are an anti-science weirdo and have no clue what you're talking about, Weitering must be in your side.
media has pushed the conversation a bit, and they tend to wag the dog a little. When have the All-Australian selectors ever picked wingmen to play on the wing? Last year Touk Miller and Callum Mills were a wingmen. What makes you think this year will be different?
I have always been a huge critic of Diacos but since he went to the midfield I can now say that Im on the bandwagon. Hopefully he gets to continue in the midfield, sending him back to hb would be a waste.Typical. Kid spends all year being criticised for “inflating his stats” from kick ins by idiots, and then when he proves he can do it in the middle with no kick ins the same idiots come out with “It’S OnLy TwO wEeKs”.

Yes I would have Martin in squad with potential to get there if big last rounds, Rozee Gulden ahead of him atm.Martin is probably competing with Rozee, and Rozee >>>>
That’s good, want to see more of it so he actually deserves the hype he gets.
So sad that toxic masculinity is still present. Thought those archaic days were over. You seem consumed by Collingwood. I love it. You just can’t keep away from us. I guess when we have owned you for over 100 years that is what happens.

I wouldn't have him in the squad - poor defensively and to the eye is a selfish footballer who I have seen burn team mates in better positions.Yes I would have Martin in squad with potential to get there if big last rounds, Rozee Gulden ahead of him atm.
Jelly is def a wingmanOther thing is who is a wingman. Is Josh Kelly a wingman? Is Noah Anderson a wingman? Is Dan Houston a wingman. I've seen all of them play there at some stage.
Well then if I was selecting specialist wingmen I'd be looking at Gulden and Kelly over J Daicos and Martin in terms of quality but Kelly hasn't played enough games in my opinion for AA this year. I'm happy to go with Anderson and Dawson even though they aren't full-time wingmen.Jelly is def a wingman
He’s played 11 to date so if he sees the season out it would be enough perhapsWell then if I was selecting specialist wingmen I'd be looking at Gulden and Kelly over J Daicos and Martin in terms of quality but Kelly hasn't played enough games in my opinion for AA this year. Joel Corey and Joel Selwood used to rotate through the wing. So it has some legitimacy depending on the midfield set up and rotations. Rightly or wrongly midfielders that are more outside runners/silk at least seem a better fit than a Taranto type. But from memory they don't really even discriminate like that. Kelly and Anderson would seem like candidates but not if being stricter on the interpretation.Other thing is who is a wingman. Is Josh Kelly a wingman? Is Noah Anderson a wingman? It is interesting how many goals Moore has had kicked on him this yearMoore and Stewart cannot win one on ones for their lives, cross their names
