Despite what stats may say Weitering has not been great all year. He had an ordinary first half of the season and a very good last 5-6 weeks. If he continues that vein of form then he comes into discussions but not right now.

Other years he was robbed despite arguably being the best defender in the comp due to a poor performing Carlton but this year he's had nobody to blame but himself for his early form.

Weitering would need to play a few more big games. I hate Moore and have long critiqued his pathetic attempts of defending his own man but he has been far better this year in that regard. Still looks like an A grade w***er but he's deserving of a spot in the side imo
